Maintaining
Moderators: iae

Normally i dont have much trouble maintaining the balance between healthy food and exercise, but I recently started a job that involves a fair bit of light manual labor, and I find myself feeling starved after I finish the day, and I end up eating almost twice what i would normally. Any suggesttions about how to keep this under control, or if this is even actually a problem?

You need a carb and protein together to sustain you.

For example: Banana and peanut butter, Apple and Peanut butter, Crackers and peanut butter or simply crackers and cheese.  One serving should do you.

You can even purchase those cheese strings (They are small rolls of cheese in individual packages).

I wish you the best of luck. Need any more suggestions. PM me. . .

Take care and God Bless.

If you're doing more physical activity you need more to eat...  How much more you can only really judge by trying it out.  If you're hungry, eat until you feel satisfied.   Make intelligent food choices with good nutrition as far as possible and then see what happens to the scales.  If they stay the same you've got the balance right.
