Calorie Count

Why would you mark your item as 'Tagged'?
Asked by anonymous on Nov 04, 2009 in Weight Maintenance

I just joined this site and want to learn more.  Why would I tag my items?  Also, will Calorie Count tell me everyday how much weight should I have lost per day according to my activity and food log?

Answer

Tagging removes the need to search for foods. You can "tag" a single food, a food combination, a meal, or a recipe for easy re-access.  Your List of Tagged Items is like having your own mini-website within Calorie Count.  For instance, you might tag your usual breakfast: [1 cup cooked oatmeal, 2 tsp. honey, 2 tsp. raisins, 1 tsp. walnuts, 4 oz skim milk].  To do that, tag those ingredients with the same Tag Name (e.g. "My Breakfast") and then when you enter My Breakfast again, you will conveniently click on the Tag Name and "Add Again" icon.  You can presently track your weight on Calorie Count and soon CC will report on your calories daily deficit based on food log and the calories you burn.  Read the Help section to learn more about using Calorie Count.

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
