Married 20 years and goofy things we do...

Hubbie and I have been married 20 years and its funny when we were first married everyone thought we wouldn't make it and WE are the only ones still married!  lol  Anyway I think Marriage is hard work, and fragile and I think we do a good job of working at it.  Lots of hard times but oh so much stronger now.

Anyway we have this new really dumb thing we do, We went on a cruise a while ago and they had guests on the Newly Wed game with married couples of over 20 years and the questions were great!  We laughed so much.  So now at home we play our own little version newly wed game.  I ask him silly things like .... ok who is my favorite female performer?  If I had a choice between a trip to Egypt or Nashville TN which one would I pick.....Trick Question...but he knew the answer.  Its silly, its fun and our friends think we are nuts.  I call him Lover Boy.  We aren't mushy or goofy or hang on each other we just are.

Awww that is so freaking sweet!! LOL I don't think my fiance would EVER be up to doing that! How'd you get your husband to comply?

We don't set a time to play we just do it.  Like if we're making dinner or on a commerical break for a TV show or if we're out with friends I'll text him.  I tell him we are preparing for the Newly wed game on our next cruise so we have to practice.  Its dumb its corny and my daughter's eyes roll back in her head when we do dumb things.  lol

I love it when he answers the questions right and when he gets them wrong! Oh that's not good.  His are harder and I work hard at them.  I usually start it and then he starts in.  He always wins or THATS WHAT HE THINKS....lol

Marriage is hard work and so so fragile at any time you can lose each other so I try to make the best of each moment.

We have tickleing matches, play questions only, go out back to our shooting range and have competitions, and we play WWE wrestling (I currently hold the championship belt).  We have been together 18 yrs.
