Reason: Moved from Calorie Count to Weight Loss, Locked as against posting guidelines. Please read the last post in the thread.
the easiest way would be to eat higher calorie foods, Eggs, Bread, Milk, or pastas these are all much higher calorie to weight foods, so it should be easier to eat the same amount of food and get more calories out of it. also strive to eat 3 meals a day a good Breakfast Lunch and Dinner at the same time every day will help to train your system to be hungry. that's a good start anyway.
This is the high calorie suggestions thread from the weight gain forum.
Lots of good, less-filling but calorie-dense ideas in there. Focus on fats - peanut butter is good - add an extra tablespoon - as are drinks - milk, smoothies, juice. You could put 1T olive oil in the quorn chili for some healthy fats.
Your profile says that you'd like to be 90-95lbs - is that still your goal? That's REALLY unhealthy at a height of 158cms - that's a BMI of 16.4 - 17.3, very underweight.
Asking what the lowest healthy weight is - like you did here - is also a sign that your mind isn't in a good place.
I am very glad that you recognize that you need to get your calories up, though!
oh nono soz , i just realised that it says minimum , what i meant by that is minimum to not gain weight , like how much is healthy calories ?
ill change it , thanks for pointing out that mistake btw ! thanks
Now I'm confused - are you trying to eat more, or eat less?
You definitely, definitely need to eat a whole lot more.
From your profile, you are 15, 5'2, and trying to reach 90 or 95lbs. 95lb would put you at a BMI of 17.4, or in the 15 percentile - and at the bare minimum for a healthy weight for your age and height, 90 lbs would be an unhealthy goal (this is from http://www.bcm.edu/cnrc/bodycomp/bmiz2.html).
Your post suggests that you are drastically undereating and overexercising. Please go see your doctor.
well , i kno 896 cals is bad, and i dont want to slip up again , so i want to eat more cals , but not much more food , my stomachs shrunk so i get full much more easier
and im vegetarian lol
so yh , what i was trying to ask in this question was how to eat more calories, but not more food ?
Which is exactly what the first two posters gave you.
As you eat more food, your stomach will get used to it - it isn't an excuse for eating too little.
im not undereating , i just literally cant eat uch , it literally makes me sick. all i was asking here is how to eat more cals without more food , like any specific type of food ( i already know pasta and egg, i dont like them )
im not undereating , and yh i might exercise a bit too much but i enjoy doing so !
As appletwo said - the weight gain forum will have suggestions for other high calorie foods.
Peanut butter and nuts are always a good thing.
Then let me repeat:

I am moving this from Calorie Count to Weight Loss but I am also locking it as it is against posting guidelines.
Calorie Count only supports healthy weight management. Eating 896 calories IS UNDEREATING, in fact, it's pretty much starving yourself. If eating 3 meals a day "literally makes you sick", I suggest you see your doctor immediately.
There is no way that on so few calories you are fuelling your body with what it needs. The minimum amount of calories a grown adult woman should eat is 1200. A teenage girl needs a MINIMUM of 1500. If you are working out as much as you are, you probably need much much more. And believe it or not, that’s only the sedentary minimum. Unless you are very, very short and small, and/or if you are working out it is very likely you will need even more calories than those minimum guidelines.
If you want to eat more calories, and as a vegetarian, you can easily have some avocado, nut, peanut butter, beans of many varieties, whole grains including bread, oatmeals, a glass of milk, cheese etc.
If you are 21 or older use CC's tools to work out your BMR so you have a number to work from for your diet. If you are under 21, CC's tools are inaccurate as you are still growing.
Eating too low a calorie intake, or having a deficit from your BMR greater than 1000 results in something called "survival mode", where your body holds every last thing it can get in expectance of a famine. Water, food, calories. Explained:
- Dieting & Metabolism - This article explains starvation mode and why undereating is counter productive.
- The Body Neglected - This is what happens when you undereat for an extended period of time.
- "Obesity on 700 Calories" - A tale of starvation mode's devistating effects, and proof you don't have to be underweight to be starving.
- From Ask Mary, the segment provided by our CC nutritionist Mary Hartley: On the dangers of undereating and what it does to your body.
The physical dangers that come with undereating are numerous. You put yourself at risk of osteoporosis, of loss of fertility if you lose your period, hair loss, electrolyte problems, a weakening of the immune system, low blood pressure, blood disorders such as anemia, heart problems, and even death. The mental woes that come alongside can be just as devestating. Depression is common in undereaters, as well as distorted perceptions and problems like Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
You are describing a disordered eating pattern even if you claim otherwise and this is something you need to talk to your doctor. Weight is easily lost if you do it in a healthy and sustainable manner which is what CC is all about.
If you want some online support try http://www.something-fishy.org, and take a look through CC's Eating Disorders Health, Resources and Info Thread. But your most immediate concern is your health - and for that that means you need to talk to your doctor before you continue "dieting". But know this: Calorie Count's mission is to promote healthy and sustainable weight management and if you are not seeking to manage your weight healthily we cannot and will not help you.
