Can someone answer two questions for me? Ok so I'm on the nuvra ring. Been on it for about a year already. This past month my period was as light as can be. Usually I have a pretty normal to heavy flow depending on the day. I decided to get off the ring to see how my body reacts this next cycle. All month long my breasts have been extremely tender and my lower abdomen is very hard. I took a pregnancy test and came negative. I know I also took it like a week after my next period. I'm gooing to try it again. Can someone please tell me all the symptoms of pregnancy and when the best day to take my preg test is? My last period(The very light and short one) was May 13.
Second question, I just started taking gluccomannan yesterday. Does anyone else take it while pregnant? Is it safe? All it is is soluble fiber but helps with sugar level and cholesterol. Thank you so much. I appreciate your help.
If your last period was 13th May then a pregnancy should definately show up by now?! I had no real symptoms with either of my pg's, but I was TTC so tested as soon as my period was late (in the second pg I found out 2days after conception! Mt Doc reckons I'm a freak of nature! LOL!) Usual symptoms are aching breasts, nausea, funny taste in your mouth, unusual tiredness.
Not sure about the glucomannan- it should say on the packet if its safe for a pregnant woman to take?
after a year on the ring your periods SHOULD get to be light(er). for the next few months as your body gets rid of the extra hormones your periods might be a bit screwy.
its doubtful that you are preg after a negative test, if you did it right, and usually symptoms dont appear till 2-4 weeks after conception.
good luck on whichever way you want it to be!
(btw gluc. is a fiber, it could very well be making your tummy feel hard and going off the nuva ring can make the tatas hurt, etc... esp since now you are just about a week away from a period)
I would say not very likely that you are pregnant.. Since you just quit the nuvra ring, your body is going through major hormonal change, and that would account for sore breasts and the like.. and also the changes in your cycle. Most pregnancy tests now days are very accurate and can detect hcG's in your urine by the first day of your first missed period.. I wouldnt think the fiber would be a problem if you are pregnant.
