Welcome to the **May** Challenge!
If you’ve participated before, welcome back for another month! To all those who have not done this challenge (or any other) welcome aboard newbies!
The challenge is pretty easy & does NOT require a long term commitment. You pick a goal weight, and post your progress each week. You are NOT in competition with the other challengers—in fact, you are encouraged to cheer each other on. This is about having a reason to stay motivated throughout the month’s weight loss journey and having a place to post your progress to help you stay on track--some "extra" accountability for your actions because you know you aren't the only one who will "see" the results.
We'll have 5 weekly weigh in's in May. Our May 3, 2009 weigh in will serve as a base-line and our final weigh will be May 31, 2009. SO, monthly weigh in dates are May 3, May 10, May 17, May 24 and May 31, 2009.
I realize weigh in days are on a Sunday. This is deliberate--for those who don’t like to weigh in on the weekend--look at it this way--extra motivation to stay on track over those “days off!” I will post results on Monday—I will NOT email you to remind you to post.

OK I've totally slacked off this month. The only reason my loss is so significant is because I had food poisining this weekend and I've barely been able to eat anything since I dispelled everything out of my system Friday night. Kind of encouraging to see the number finally down past 196, not gonna lie, but definitely not the way I wanted to do it. I've been plateaued for a long time now and I've started to get complacent... NOT a good thing because I still have a long way to go. I got EA Sports Active though and plan to start that soon, as well as hit the gym again. I've also started a walking group with some of the girls from work and every Wednesday we do a 4mile walk in the evenings. I'm getting back in gear... slowly... but I really need a kick in the pants to get my focus back or something. Ugh why is this so hard sometimes!?

I really PAID for taking that week off when my daughters were in town...I guess that was it. But it's better this morning than it was at lunchtime yesterday, and didn't like it! So I weighed this morning. This will also be my beginning weight for June Challenge!
Wii fit says I have lost 3 lbs in the last 2 days...I weigh after dinner on wii fit, daily. But is is on carpet.
