If it's just b/c you don't like the flavour - How about salsa? Or hummous? yogurt dressing? All lower calories etc.  If that's what you're worried about, Hellmans extra light is really LOW! Tastes a bit funny to me but then I'm not a mayo fan X
I have not tried it personally, but I have seen mention of using cottage cheese in place of mayo in egg/tuna/chicken salad....

I will see what else I can come up with for you :)

hey :)

i like the flavour, but its a bad fat! i try so hard to rid it out of my diet! but i cant resist it! x
I don't like the taste of mayonaise, so Ive always bought Miracle Whip light..I don't use it often, on an egg sandwich, in tuna or in some cole slaw...one jar lasts me a long time.
Sorry to sound like I work for Helman's but... there is 0.6g saturated fat per 100grams - so it'd be virtually negligible in the amount u would put with a sandwich.  Or am I missing something?! x
thanks MC! i could try that
Hello, I am a mayo junkie so I have been mixing up the least amount of mayo that I can afford calorie wise and mix it with dijon mustard, rice vinegar, and horseradish...yummy
Okay, so a few other suggestions....
Depending on the recipe, you could also substitute:
Low Fat cream cheese
Low Fat plain yogurt
Soy Mayo
Mustard (in salads and such)

I would make the choice depending on the specific thing being made.
Hopefully these help!

Yum!  Miracle Whip Light is so yummy.  I don't like mayo but I use this stuff for my tuna.
i have been using the fat-free mayo. it grosses my husband out (it's basically mayo-flavored gelatin), but when it's mixed with chicken, expecially if i add some onions, i don't notice the difference.
I like to use hummus or a soft, spreadable goat cheese instead of mayo (I like chevre or this brand at my grocery store call "Chavrie").  I like the flavor of mayo, but I realized that it was the creamy texture that I missed most, so I found those yummy creamy alternatives.
Like food_freak said, Hellmann's (Best Foods on the West Coast) has a good light Mayonnaise.   In fact Cook's Illustrated ("America's Test Kitchen") rated Hellmann's Light the best for sandwiches and Hellman's Reduced Fat (lower in fat/cals) the best for dips and dressings.

Another good option is Dijonnaise.

My husband & I really like Kraft Light Mayo. According to the label (side & back), it is South Beach Diet Recommended. To me, the taste is between Hellman's and Miracle Whip.
