ok..so today I ate:
B- frosted mini wheats w/ 1% milk
L- french toast w/ egg and tomato slices, cottage cheese, water
S- butterfinger granola bar and small bowl of bran cereal w/ 1% milk
D- Turkey meat with taco sauce and 2 1/2 biscuits
dessert: peanut butter brownie ice cream on a sugar cone.
s- cottage cheese, 4 snackwells creme sandwiches
Alright, I know that some of my food choices arent that great, does anyone have any ideas on how I can improve my diet/choices. I would like to know of any high protein foods I can eat after dinner, also I am going to try not to eat carbs after my evening snack. I just need to maintain my weight, so I need about 2000-2400 calories a day because I am pretty active. Thanks!

I have a couple of suggestions. Cut out sugars. If you want more protein in your diet eat way more meats or drink protein shakes. Chicken is high in protein, seafood, peanut butter, and veggies ofcourse. To watch weight try negative calorie foods. And if you are not sure what negative calorie foods are then look it up, it is pretty interesting. Try protein shakes though, they really help.
Browsing over your menu for the day, I noticed you had zero fruit and only tomato slices in terms of vegetables (although everything you listed there sounds awfully good and is making me hungry!)
I've been eating better for a couple of months and have incorporated many more fruits and vegetables into my diet. It takes more work and more trips to the grocery store (I try to buy fresh produce), but my body is thanking me. I have so much more energy and (not to be gross) but a much better waste management system going on.
You have a reasonably large caloric intake for the day so you could eat fruits/veggies that have higher calories; bananas, sweet potatoes, peas, corn, grapes...just to name a few.
