What is the meaning of the Burn Meter vs. the Eat Meter?
Asked by anonymous on Apr 05, 2008 in Weight Loss

I missed this answer at the start of joining the Calorie Count Plus program.  I am not sure what the meters represent.

Answer

The Eat Meter tallies the calories from the food you log over the course of a day, and subtracts them from your daily calorie requirement.  The Eat Meter shows the number of calories you have left to eat by the end of the day.  The Burn Meter is set for the calories you burn in one day based on your basal metabolic rate and your average activity level. It automatically subtracts calories with each passing hour, but if you elect to log a specific activity, the Burn Meter subtracts those calories from the total and prorates the difference.
