Measurement Logs for you
Hi everyone!
I know we all use the handy weight loss log here, as well as the nifty food/burn meters, but your scale does not tell you what percent of your weight is muscle, fat, bone, etc. It's not an accurate tool! You should at least be using a tape measure along with that scale to get a better picture of your progress. After all, if you've no weight but have lost enough inches to squeeze into the next size down from your usual size, wouldn't you consider that progress? Or if you've gained an inch or two on the boob area, lost those inches on the waist, but the scale hasn't changed, would you complain about it? At least, I wouldn't. :-)
So, help me help us. I have suggested to CC that they add the means for us to log our measurements on this site, just like we log our weight and everything else. Please contact CC and tell them you too, would find this beneficial!
In the meantime, I have made an excel sheet to track both your weight & measurements, as well as your BMI, based on your height and weight. If you'd like me to email it to you, feel free to contact me here. If you have a PDA like I do, you can find a lot of free software out there that does the same. I have a Palm handheld and use this free software called "DB". It lets me enter my activities (exercise), my measurements, my weight, my workout routine (if I have any), etc.
