Mine, which I hate, is 34, 27, 38

I'm pretty sure I measured myself properly, for my waist, I measured the smallest part, so yea, I don't know if that's right or not.

Hey Yo ellie, I'm trying to gain.  I'm up 5 pounds from 89, I see that as an acomplishment.  I am in the healthy range but I'm still small.  Smaller than I kinda should be.  I also dont see this as "pro ana".  I didnt express any wish to be at a smaller weight.  Sorry for the problem though.

23inchwaist, maybe you'd be less "boyish" if you weren't painfully underweight?

Buzzybee and 23inchwaist, and any other with underweight weights that they are not gaining up from, and unhealthy goals:

Buzzybee is not underweight, she's actually at a healthy weight for her age (15). Try putting her stats into the calculator for kids and teens below. This is the Young Calorie Counters forum, remember?

I'm happy with it all.. but i don't understand my waist!  My body is relatively fragile and my waist looks fine but on the tape measurer it's 27inch. which is getting me down a bit!

That hip-waist ratio largely applies to those who have a waist measurement close to their hips due to excess abdominal weight. If you are slender or healthy, but simply dont have a large hip-waist ratio, I wouldn't worry too much.

its not your waist, its your bust and hips. because your almost underweight, your bust and hips are so small it makes your waist look bigger. if you gain weight, you would get boobs and a butt and make your waist look smaller.

I'm 5'3 and pear shaped.  I don't mind having big hips, I just wish my waist was smaller.  I have a short torso, so I carry a lot of my weight in my waist.

Quick thank you to xnaima and stephh11- you've just made my easter holidays a lot happier! :)
