Out of curiosity what do vegetarians eat for dinner.

I'm not a vegetarian but I rarely eat meat. Some of the things I make are veggie burgers, salads, and vegetable stirfry with noodles.

I allways wondered this to.


I only eat meat 1 time a week and its boilded chicken breast.



Ill be eating more meat soon though like a burger or somthing

I often eat vegetarian and, if you're a little creative in the kitchen you can come up with all kinds of delicious & colourful meals.... Here are some of my favourites.

Spicy Beanburger Pittas

Mushroom Curry with Rice

Spicy Frittata

Pasta Bake with Tomato, Basil and Mozarella

Cannellini Bean Salad

Fruity Rice Salad

And there are lots of lovely vegetarian recipe books with some great ideas.

 

 

 

 

 

Beans! Tofu! Tempeh!  all good protein choices

Not a veg, but I hardly eat meat.  Beans are cheap (esp if you buy em dried) healthy, and very versatile.  My fave.

I eat lots of stir-fried vegetables with delectable sauces (garlic sauce, sweet & sour sauce, thai and indian curries ...)

Lots of bean and lentil dishes.  Cold lentil salad is one of my favorites.

Salad, veggie burgers, bean burritos, black beans and rice, sweet and sour tofu, pizza with any great veggie topping - cheese optional, veggie lo mein, veggie tofu, pasta and lasagna with veggies or tvp in it, tvp sloppy joes, french onion soup if made right,  Falafel, spinach quesedillas, omelettes, and all bean chilli.

Ah, anything else in the world?

yuck.  if boiled chicken breast was the only meat i allowed myself, i'd be a vegetarian.

I love the yoghurt in at the end.... that creamy look and feel is so decadent!!  BTW... that basic spiced tomato sauce is a good base for other curries. You could add chickpeas and spinach, tofu and red peppers, all kinds of things.

I'm not a vegetarian but I eat meat about once a fortnight (not chicken, how boring, something tasty!) - fish a bit more often than that. So I eat a lot of vegetarian food.

Mostly I cook vegetarian curries, pastas, risottos, vegetable fritattas or tarts, salads with lots of cheese and nuts and fruits, sushi, mezze plate type meals with stuffed vine leaves and olives and hummus and halloumi... I do also really like rare steak and raw fish Laughing ~ but it's a treat not a staple!
