NO Meat NO Men NO Sugar NO Dairy For a year...

Quote  |  Reply

So...I thought i'd count calories and swear of meat and dairy and refined sugar...oh yeah and dating and sex...

so far i've only given in to one thing...the dairy...ZAP!  I had some angel food cake with whippy icing..

I went to a party and there were men there.....tall healthy looking men...arg..

so far meat is the easiest....i've given in to the dairy once...a little sugar with that...and i've dreamt of doing the deed with my boss...YIKES

I've had some problems with food and sex addiction in the past....so we'll see how this goes!

Big changes work too. When you get really serious about achieving something, it can be just the motivation you need to really do it.

Anyhow  I've decided that I must lose weight.  So here's a new pledge.  I will eat no more than 2000 calories and no less than 1200 calories a day.  I will drink only water and exercise....luck be wished upon me :(

This is a much more reasonable goal. Good luck!!

Best of luck with your new goals!!

I just recently gave up coffee and booze for a short time ( I have until Sept 21st..started the coffee thing 2 weeks ago and booze 1)

Giving up meat was incredibly easy....but I was a vegetarian all throughout highschool and college. Now I just eat seafood

Again, I wish thee luck....I raise a glass a nice ice cold water to you!

I've found it necessary to swear off certain things as well in order to have success. I know that many if not most people can have them as part of their diet / lifestyle and still lose weight but for me they were triggers to binge. I found alternative that satisfy the cravings with out the danger of falling off the wagon.

Chocolate > but I kept cocoa

Cheese > but I kept cottage cheese

Bread > but I kept tortillas

Cable > but I kept my DVDs

That is really good advice...I've also found that if I really like something that is high in fat there is always a substitute...

I was really gunho about the no dairy and meat and animal products at the beginning of the year...i read that book "Skinny Bitch" and I guess i got a bit over excited.   But this time I'm not going to go by someone else idea of what a good diet is...I'm doing my own research and looking at my own resources to develop a personalize plan that's best for me!!~
