hi everyone-

so im trying to gain weight and recovering from anorexia.  right now i eat according to a schedule and most of the time pre plan meals+snacks.  i eat whether or not im hungry and bc its been preplanned and scheduled.  i dont often crave any certain foods and if i dont preplan i have a difficult time thinking what to have.  i find that my hunger/satiety cuues are completely skewed and that ill eat bc i know i have cals left over.

when will this change?  when will i eat normally?  i feel as though my body doesnt talk to me or that i just cant hear it?

any advice?

You're quite right about weighing things being a slipperly slope.  Scales aren't necessary... a light serving of dry pasta shapes is about 3 good handfuls.  And that sounds like a nice meal combination...  To your cooked pasta you could stir in some cooked meat (or how about some mixed beans?),  chopped tomatoes & olive oil to make it moist, some juicy black olives, fresh basil leaves, some grilled red pepper slices, generous with the black pepper  and plenty of salad leaves.  Yoghurt.   Fruit.  Fantastic!!!  That should get your tastebuds tingling!

unrelated and i also posted a seperate thread on it, but as i mentioned before, my mother's eating is eratic and unhealthy and i ust picked her up from the bus after her day at work, she said all she had eaten-it was 4 30pm, was peach tea.  ive told her how saying that and her weird eating habits affect me, but she still does it and it is so triggering and makes it so hard for me to stay focued. ugh, sorry.
