When we got in touch with Betsy, she explained that she is writing a piece on losing weight for free. She is looking for people who have lost between 20 and 30 lbs, and who can talk about one or more of the following topics: post-baby weight loss, those stubborn 20 lbs someone could never lose, etc.
Let me know if you are interested or if you know someone who fits those criteria. You can reach me at ilebovic@about.com. Thanks!
Just also wanted to add that we need to respond by end of day today or latest by noon tomorrow. Thanks!
Maybe you should make it a sticky? I'd say SURE, but I've lost more than 30 lbs...
Hi Igor. I had twin girls in 2006. Right away I dropped alot my baby weight but found my final weight about 20 lbs over my starting weight before having the girls. Since March 2006, I lost 12 lbs through cutting calories but no real exercise program. Since April of this year, I finally joined the CC group and started daily exercise with calorie count and have lost another 10lbs since April 10th. So, right at 22 lbs and still dropping.
Dawn.
Mom of 7 in Maryland!
Hi Igor, I had a baby boy the end of June 2008. I was 158 when I gave birth and after giving birth and losing the water weight associated with that was down to 137. I'm only 5 feet tall so 137 still left me a lot to lose. I didn't have time to work on it until October 2008 since my husband was relocated to another state and we were busy moving. Since then I've lost about 27lbs. I teeter between 109-110 right now. I started counting calories and exercising daily at home.Trying to lose 4-5 more pounds.
