looking to lose weight to help in profession

I'm 5'7 as well and I weigh 145, with a BMI of around 30.

I think 125-130 might be a good weight, though i'm not sure because I've always had this secret extra pudge on me.
I'm 5"7' and my goal weight is 140.

I'm 5'8" and  would like to be somewhere between 150 - 160...but preferably 150 :-)
Hi I'm 5'7" and I weigh about 172 right now (started at 200) and my goal is 150.  I haven't been that weight since I got married six years ago (had two kids which did a number on my body)and I like the way I look in my wedding pictures.

I'm 5'7" med. frame and weigh 186 lbs. My goal weight is 135.
I'm 5' 7.5"  My goal is 145, and I don't plan to go lower than that.
I'm 5'7" med. frame, I weigh 150lbs, my goal weight is 135, though I think 140 would be easier to maintain.
i'm 5'7 3/4, currently at 138ish and aiming for 125. i am also trying to tone a lot, so theres a chance i might get to 130 and feel ok with that. guess i'll know WHEN (not if) i get there!

I'm around 5'7" to 5'8" and 19. I usually weight 117, but currently topping out at 125. I plan to go down to 120 by the end of the month, which to me is the ideal weight to be at, as long as you keep it toned.
Hi,  I'm 5'7 and am targeting 140 - 145lbs down from 160.
I'm 5'6 and a halfish" and I'd really like to be at around 123 so I can fluctuate 5 pounds and still be at a "goal" weight.

I would prefer to be a size 4, although if I were tone and a size 6 then the weight number would not matter to me.
I am 5' 8"  and weigh around 132.  I'm more after gaining muscle and becoming really lean so maybe lose 5 more pounds.
I'm 5'7" - 25yrs old - started CC at 245lbs - Last weigh in was Thursday, May 10th at 230lbs - Goal weight is 175 by christmas after that 145 by Summer 2008.
i'm 5'7", maybe half, and weigh 113.
but i'm only 15 and small build...
im 5'8 ,17 years old, and 108 pounds....recovered from an eating disorder...=) i wanna go back to my pre-anorexia weight of 120 (small frame)
hey katie, it says ure "looking to lose weight" but ure already thin???????? why would u do that to ureself? i suggest you not lose weight but gain muscle , especially if ure a swimmer. =)
I'm 5'7 and when I did that 'finger and thumb around the wrist thingy" I came up small frame, so I assume that those who aren't small frame can and should carry more weight. I have been a yo-yo every month I think since 16 and I'm 35 now and have discovered that once I get over 117 whether I am working out or not, and I've done a great deal of both, I will have some kind of love handle over the panties, jeans and a saddle-bag hip which I loath, but I think I will always have a hip except when I have gotten down to about 113. I also know in my aged wisdom (ego here) that diets suck and deprive and don't work and make you anorexic, and I know that activivty (jogging, whatever but significant and regular) and good whole food (fruit, veggie, fish, beans, rice, some pasta and bread too! And a treat sometimes too, but not pop!) will keep you just right. If you aint doin it, you know what the problem is! I know what my problem is. There's more than one. I think those who lift weights even with small frame will weigh more too.
