Hi!

I'm a 29 year old, stay at home mom of 5 little munchinks, their ages are 12, twins that will be 7 this month, 3, and 20 months.

I've been on and off this website for probably over a year now. Basically I've always been a little on the chubby side, years ago I was hovering around 140 lbs. Then I met my husband and began to let myself go. I'd already gained a few extra pounds before I got pregnant with the twins. I quit smoking for the pregnancy and stopped caring about watching calories, and put on 100 lbs! After their birth I lost about 50, and the other 50 has stuck with me nearly 7 years!

Earlier this year I attempted to quit smoking again. I was successful for about 4 months, but I'd gained 35 lbs! Once I really noticed the weight gain, I gave up and started smoking again, which didn't help me lose weight at all.

Recently I've started watching episodes of the Biggest Loser and I got extremely depressed when I saw some of these girls weighing about the same as I do! That sort of hit home pretty hard, and I began the weight loss all over again! I was 225 lbs. In the first week I lost 10 lbs, mostly because I gave up soda and went to water. Tomorrow will be exactly 2 weeks since the diet began, and that is when I will weigh in again.

Okay, so that's me and my weight loss story in a nutshell. Just hoping I can keep the motivation and stick with it this time!
