oops...guess I got a little impatient and hit the post button twice Tongue out

Hi~

I was unable to get to a scale until this morning, but as of this morning I am...115 lbs still. But I am glad, considering how much I ate this Thanksgiving! =]

I am weighing 141 today and yesterday but we will see what the scale says Friday uh...

I havent worked out since sunday and I just dont feel like it. Ive been kindof bummed the last few days. Blew off work for a few days and I just feel like I dont really care about it right now either. Not sure why I am feeling like this maybe the winter weather...I think it maybe because I work sooo much - 65 hrs a week for the last few years, between work and school and now 2 jobs- I think I am just tired of being busy and tired all the time.

I no longer have any friends and the girl the I was closest too had her baby sunday and didnt even to include me in her mass txt message to tell everyone. It really hurt my feelings she could just write me off like that.

Sorry ladies...I needed to vent!

hey gals! i've been so overwhelmed with holiday shopping, it's completely exhausted me! been reading but didn't get to reply..

makinitcount44- thanks babe! weights and cardio on the same day is HARD for me to get motivated about so it's inspiring knowing more ppl do that! I've aimed to do ballet atleast 3 times a week so that leaves 3 other days plus a break day.. and i don't want to do cardio OR weights on my ballet days! so i just stack em up on the same day. it's tough mentally for me more than physically.

I'm not a mom nor do i work 2 jobs among other stuff but i can empathize with ur situation, u're one super woman. I can understand how that can take a toll on ur social life... but that pretty much sucked for her to do that.

 

2nluv - i'm glad you got a chance to take a class and commend you for trying something new :) no idea what kim weighs, i would definitely say +125 though... there is no way she is 115!

this past month has been a disaster for me. i'm recommitting to my diet and exercise plan.

Makinitcount44, that is terrible for her to not have included you and I feel your pain on being so overwhelmingly busy, there was a time that I was working full time + going to school full time and it just wore me out completely, and I didn't have a child then so I can imagine exactly how you feel now that I have one of my own. Keep your chin up.


Well tomorrow is weigh in and I'm hoping I can hit 146, maybe I'll jump rope for a half hour tonight to burn some extra calories and see what happens in the morning. I am just under 1200 calories for the day so it could be possible. I ate half of my chicken and cheese biscuit this morning and had a chicken burrito for dinner and a coca-cola.

Thanks girls for the supportive comments...I am not trying to put all the blame on her, I am sure somewhere I am at fault...it takes two right?

Anyway I am feeling better~ had a couple of days to just lay around and sleep and relax basically and spent some extra time with my honey and son.

I am weighing at 141 for today, which I am surprised because I had a very late dinner last night at Buffalo Wild Wings~ breaded buffalo chicken sanwhich, fries and a few beers and also a few boneless buffalo wings. It was pretty good but a little over priced. oh well, we had a nice time. I hope that I can keep it up through the weekend.

Well, that's not too bad, considering how I ate last weekend.  I was hoping that more of it was water weight, but I guess not.

Makinitcount44, I love Buffalo Wild Wings--adore their sweet barbecu sauce.   But it's a very rare indulgence the last year or so.

I always seem to get a better result the day after weigh in....145 this morning

hadn't posted my weight this friday, but yeah no change in weight. I'm done with a fever so i'm not working out today, i had yesterday and the day before but i'm to a point where i'm just cold and weak and need the rest since it's build up quite a bit.. i didn't have the fever before today, just been slightly queasy and not feelign too great.. i live in Dubai and tomorrow's the first day of the Eid holiday.. I'll be spending it in bed instead of visiting family so as not to spread the bug :/ probably catch up on my design work...

GEEZ, weekends are just terrible, especially when I am not working them you know. Too much drinking followed by terrible eating! UGH!

And I so agree with you Sam, that 126 looks really tempting!!! I'm thinking that I would like to settle at about 130 which is 15 pounds lighter than my current weight (I say this while eating giant sugar cookies Tongue out) I'm excited today because my coworker finally got a gym membership to American Family so now I have a partner to work out with, I stopped going when my bff stopped because I don't like going alone. So, we are going to start going after work together, take a few classes, and spend some quality time with the infamous STAIRMASTER (my worst enemy and best friend lol) I really want to do some sculpting/toning and I still have those annoying problem areas that I know I have to work on, the tummy and the arms! UGH!!!

Lets rev it up ladies and continue to motivate and inspire one another!!!

 You will ge there, Sam!  Keep your focus and motivation up and it will happen!   I am hoping the same for myself.

2nluv, having a workout parnter makes all the idfference in the world!  I cannot imagine working out on my own without a fitness class or a friend waiting for me.  Good luck to you!

Buddies do totally make it easier and funnier! I do it alone though at home and it works for me. And whos tummy isnt their problem area? hee hee

Barnaby115, thanks, I am hoping to make it totally happen. Have already denied all the christmas treats at work and have had a deficits for the week...I know its only Tues night. But I am planning and making good choices. I know that Thursday will be a cheat day...finishing my christmas shopping and we always eat out for lunch and dinner (if we are gone that long, which we usually are) and always a few drinks.

I started on Stage 2 of my NROLFW and its sooo much harder but a great hard! I'll be feeling it tomorrow!

Way to go Sam, u soooo motivate me to get off my behind!!! Didn't make it to the gym today because some other things came up. I've been trying to sell some old baby things on craigslist and finally I am getting rid of the stuff and some extra christmas cash BTW...YAAY. Anywho, weighed in at 144 this AM. I think I'll follow in your foot steps and pop in a workout video before bed.


Thanks barnaby115, we used to always have so much fun when we went. Maybe I can convince her to come with me again sometimes but then again, she's tall and thin like a model (complete opposite of me)..we should all be so lucky lol.

Ack I'm in need of some motivation! Whenever I have a decent-sized deficit at the end of the day (like today was 500 cals), I just feel the need to close the gap and I usually end up eating small things that eventually cause me to go over my daily burn. Help me stop! =[

Edit: The kitchen is several yards away from me so it's easy to get some snacking in...

OMG white_sakura I know how you feel. The exact thing happen to me yesterday. Had 620 deficit and once I got to work I "felt" I had room to eat, you know, and had 3 mini hersey bar (from co-worker) and bag of peanut m&ms, which were not good anyway so that annoyed me that I wasted those calories. Its soooo annoying! Why do we do that? Dont we want to see weight loss and change in our bodies? (hand raised) "I  do, I do!!"

Someone at work always has some sort of sabotaging treat and of course the dumb vending machines filled with junk!

I need help....
