LOL Sam, I haven't had one of 'those' nights in a long time, I miss going out and having a good time and a couple good drinks, dancing the night away and trying to beat the sunrise home...I couldn't agree more about having no good friends in our lives, I have one good girl friend, my best friend for 6 years, she's about to turn 29 next week and is all sad about it so I'm going to try to drag her out the house, but I haven't had much luck in a long time, I drug her out for my birthday last year and she was such a party-pooper, honestly she has changed since she started seeing this new guy, sooo frustrating because she doesn't see it...but anyways. I hope you get to feeling better, I had a sore throat last week and was all sniffy and coughy this week...next week is TTOM for me too Elle, so I've been giving in to my salty and sweet cravings, I've discovered the original flavor Sun Chips are a perfect combo! MMM MMM MMM...I'm still at 139 for today's weigh in, I've gone through half a bottle of Bio-Oil and its only been like a week or two right? I dunno...I think the bottle said you have to use it for 90 days consistently to see true results so I'm gonna stick with it and see what happens...


Hunny, I'm soooooo glad to hear the strength in your words, you couldn't be more right about the situation. Everything happens for a reason, I always live by that and regret nothing that I've ever been through, the good, the bad the ugly, there's always a meaning deeper than we can sometimes see in the moment and I love that you share the same optimism, its such a wonderful characteristic!

We've got our own little Charlie's Angels threesome going on here Kiss so what ever you guys think about starting a new one is cool either way...talk to you later ladies, have a good weekend dolls!

Way to go for being strong and knowing what you will and wont accept in your life from people you love and who are suppose to love you as well....the hardest thing is walking away but its also hard to stay somewhere with someone who wont try understand and stand behind your decisions. I am proud of you!!!  I wish more women were strong!

Ash~ Isnt it funny how much a number can have an effect on you? Turning 26 was mine...I cried the whole day before. Being closer to 30, farther from 21 and not married or finished with college or having the perfect job all played a role in it as well. Well I hope that you can cheer up your girl and get out and have a great time! She sounds like she could really use it. I would totally go out with you ( you know if I lived closer~hee hee!)

WOW...those bottles dont last very long do they?? Quite expensive if thats the case. That darn stuff better work right! LoL!

I am been really good all week (The scale even said this morning 140.5)and tonight I am being bad...shrimp fried rice and crab ragoon and couple beers for dinner.  Can we say S-O-D-I-U-M???  and alot of it! alot of water weight for me in the morning I am sure. But I rarely eat it and the kiddo and I wanted it so there...HAH!

Sam, you are so funny...I love the little karate chop "HAH!" there at the end...and you go girl! Shrimp fried rice sounds yummy! I was kinda bad this morning too and ate two buttermilk pancakes with butter-rich syrup Embarassed so for dinner I made a burger but left out the carbs, so no buns nor tortillas, so you wouldn't call it a burger then, more like a meatloaf right? lol BTW I HATE meatloaf! Ohhh and if ya'll noticed, no lunch for me today, I slept right through it accidently...cloudy, rainy day today, perfect for sleeping in and so I took avantage of the oppurtunity but slept wayyyy longer than expected, from 1PM to 5PM, whoops! Anywho, way to go on those numbers babe, I finally got a little movement this morning, down 1, so hopefully I can keep it up for next week's check in...well I'm outta here....ttyl

This morning I weighed in at 120lbs.. I've gained a little this week because I've been in the process of upping my cals. Looking to get down to 105 eventually.. I'm hoping for graduation/summer!!! But 110 sounds just fine to me right now because I'm trying to stay as healthy physically and mentally as I can.

Oh, and I'm 18! It's good to be with fellow shorties! Cool

I knew that shrimp fried rice would catch up to me...143 on the scale this morning! It was so yummy so oh well. I also had a bacon cheeseburger last night also with a couple of beers. (I like beer, can you tell?) Hee hee! I dont really expect much of a weight loss this week for check in on thursday but I'll see...could all be made up if I made good choices this week.

I honestly think I am comfortable where I am always fluctuating -low 140's and high 130's- I can eat/drink I what I want without killing myself with exercise. I kindof just to need to tone up my belly more. I want to make my goal and am giving it a honest effort since starting to go to the doctor...just kindof thinking out loud.

I think you can do the virtual model thing at www.mvm.com Ash...I was just looking at that website the other day thinking about doing one for myself. I wish that they did them more by measurements and not by weight alone. But I think I am going to make a model.

I love naps!!! I could nap everyday even if I slept 8 hrs the night before. LoL!And keep those #'s going down...you can do it!

Hey! I'm upping my cals to 1,600-1,800 because I was at 1,200 for a year (I lost 20 pounds total in the year) and all of a sudden couldn't budge the scale and when I asked why I found out my body was in starvation mode from eating too little.. I thought 1,200 was a fine amount for my age but found out it's only for 21's and up! Yikes!! So I've been working on upping my cals.. It's been really hard though because I'm not hungry but I know I have to do it to help my metabolism. Ugh. It's been a struggle just eating 1,500 (I have no idea how I'm going to make it to 1,800!) I know I won't lose a pound a week (I might not even lost at all!) this way but that's okay with me as long as I'm not hurting my body. Smile

Hello Ladies!!!

We finally got some real snow and wouldn't you know we'd get snowed in along with it, both good and bad...I get to lay around all day with the little one but on the other hand, I'm bored already!!! So I started playing around on the virtual model site which is pretty cool! I definitely agree with Sam on wishing it were more customizable to our actual measurements, they only give you three shapes to choose from! Booooo Tongue out But anyways, lately people have started to comment about how small my waist is, which I don't think is all that small, but is just emphasized because of my hips...I love my hips and the natural curves of my body, I would agree that I am comfortable at this weight too and just really need a bit of toning to look more sculpted but I'm soooo lazy, I know, I know...that won't happen unless I get off my tail and actually do some work to get to that type of look, ugh! I could probabaly continue to lose lbs. but I don't really have a magic number I want to get down to. I haven't actually taken my measurements in a while, so I guess I'll do that today since I have nothing else to do! I guess the thing driving me to still lose is just wanting to be able to fit into a size 7 jean, dunno why, 7 is my favorite number though, another thing, this is probably weird lol but I want back dimples! Is that weird? You know, the two little dimbles on either side of your spine near the small of your back. I think they are really sexy for some reason. Also, I would love to be able to wear a pair of shorts for a change, I honestly have not worn a pair of shorts out in public in my entire adult and teenage life, can you believe that?!? So those are my real goals, my fiance told me the other day that I needed to put a couple of pounds back on...yeah right buster! He would probably want me to wear sweat pants and baggy shirts too LOL

hello all... How is everyone? Good here...weather was great today (mid 50's)and is suppose to be a little better tomorrow (low 60's) and then rain. Better then snow I guess. We have had enough really.

I went to weigh in today. The scale said 142.4lbs so down 1.2. SmileI am sure that it will slow down soon...thats how it goes for me.

Ash, are you going to be off from work soon because of spring break? My son has it the week of the 23rd. I would love to be able to get to go somewhere. Indoor waterpark maybe. Ill have to start looking for deals.

I ordered a program from beachbody that the lady from turbo jam leads call Chalean Extreme. And is a 3 month program with each month focusing on a different aspect of how to strengthening and lean out the body. I recieved it today & am excited to start. So I am going to take a "before" pic & take measurments and follow along. You check your progress every 30 days witha new pic and new measurments. I have so many dvds and I like them all but I get bored of them after a while but I do go back to them every now & then.  I love weight lifting but this is just what I needed...something to lay it out and tell me what to do each workout and when to workout. Its something like New Rules of Lifting for Women (book I have and really love) but a bit more detailed with visuals on tv.

Hey Hey Hey...TGIF!!! So glad the weekend is here...this week has been so crazy for me at work because of the snow...ugh!...everyone was in a panic because our schedule is nearly completely booked through the end of spring, and spring has yet to even begin, so there is no spring break in sight for me, and that surely sucks, BUT I am definitely looking forward to our summer break Sam!!!...but anywho, I know we're all still waiting patiently for March 20th, the official start of spring...but because of the weather conditions, the majority of schools were closed from Monday until Wednesday, some even until Thursday, due to a single day of snowy weather, forcing us to do 'the shuffle' and get everything rescheduled when we had hardly any availability to begin with, and there's four of us in my dept., each of us handling ten to fifteen jobs a day so you can imagine our state of mind but like the saying goes, if there's a will, there's a way, right! So I'm glad we got thru it all but I must admit I've eaten terribly all week in the rush...luckily I am still down one from last week's weigh-in...137 today, I seem to be stuck fluctuating between 138 and 137...haven't seen the better side of 135 since I hit it in mid-Feb. so I definitely need to come up with a game plan so that I'm bathing suit ready by summer, sooooo I bought a new bathing suit and its almost 'just-right' so I'll use that as my motivation to actually work out for a change. Funny thing I have to mention is that I've never worn a bathing suit before I was pregnant and only then did I wear one because, silly me, I felt I had a reason to be 'fat' and no one would criticize me. I would soooo love to do something fun this summer, like go to a water-park too! but then again, I don't even know how to swim, guess I could always tread the kiddie pool LOL

So it's supposed to be in the upper 70's tomorrow so I'll probably spend the day out and about running errands since I couldn't get much done during the week so hopefully toting around a 30 pound toddler all day will burn some major calories.

Sam are you going to post your progression pics? its such a powerful thing to be able to visually compare your progress right in front of you, I look at some older pics of me and then I look at me now and I'm really amazed at what I've accomplished but on the other hand, I'm shocked looking back because I knew I was heavy but to see myself in retrospect is like 'oh my goodness!!!' 

BTW I just realized that this Sunday is daylight savings so we're losing an hour which sux cuz I could definitely use some extras everyday! and did anyone else notice that next Friday, is a Friday the 13th...that's the second this year already...hmmm

my friday weigh in wasn't any different from the last, but i also have my period so it's not the best indicator.

I have some really yucky news... I put on 7 pounds and I'm up to 125 from 118. I am in the worst mood ever and I hate everything. Plus I can't even wear any of my clothes and I feel so gross. Please help me I am so so upset!!! Frown

veggie love! You wil lose them hun, but that also means you need to shift your mindset to a calm more accepting one.. it's hard to solve a situation with the same mindset that brought it. Stressing is only going to make you binge even more hun!

you will lose the weight. take it one day at a time and just really settle in the 'now'. Infact in a few days the water weight'll be off and that itself is a huge relief because you get to see and feel something visible. <3 take it with one small goal at a time - water weight first - then your pound off per week... gw will come <3

veggie_love hon! there is no way you gained 7lbs. You are in the process of adjusting your calories and so your body is also adjusting. Its holding on to a little more for right now because its say "hey whoa there is a lot of food here that I am not use too!" If you are eating well and you know if you are or not youll soon see it drop back after thing are regulated!

 

I decided not to go to the doctor this week and just wait until next because I started that program and its heavy lifting and your muscles tend to retain water after working them like that.

Ive been eating pretty well. I think I am going to try to follow the eating plan...I am just so picky thoFrown  I have been closer in my calorie range so I am happy about that. I still have some things to work on.

I am going to post my weight from my scale in the morning but I expect it to be a little higher but atleast I am expecting it right? LoL

137/134/122...12 lbs till goal (-2 lbs this month)

I have a question for everyone. According to the site I should eat 1400 calories/ day to reach my goal weight by June.  I have an office job but I don't really sit the whole time.  I exercise quite a bit per day.  I walk 45 mins each way to work and 30 mins of elliptical at lunch.  Then I sometimes hit the gym at night.  Should I be eating more calories?
