Hi everyone!  I, too, am a teacher...would love to join~is this still possible?   I have about 20 lbs. to loose and would LOVE to return to school looking "FINE" LOL...

Last summer I did very well on South Beach, but when I went back to work it was VERY difficult to "live life" and stay on track...gained 10 of the 18 lbs. back~ughhh!! Need help finding a way to eat without going overboard OR limiting myself to almost all foods...I would love to enjoy life~in moderation.

So, am I in?  How does this work?

OK, I've added instructions to the forum header. Each week I may suggest a theme or challenge for the week, related to nutrition, exercise, or mindset.

I would love to join this challenge (although, I'm not a teacher). I can't check in on the 26th, but will on the 27th and I'll tell you all about myself then. I look forward to this challenge with all of you.

This sounds hard, in a GOOD way! I have 45 lbs of baby weight to lose...this should help with the motivation!

I'd like to join.  This looks like fun.  I have about 14 pounds to go and could really use the support.  It would be just great if I could lose it by Sept 1st.  Count me in please.

OK, as of Friday morning, we're up to 21 people -- check the alphabetical list at the top to make sure you're there. Initial weigh-in Monday, and the challenge will close Monday night (no more new members after that).

Hello, I'd love to join.  I just finished a four-week challenge with some others and was surprised at how potent a motivator it was.  I'm pleased to find another challenge to segue into at just the right moment.

Previously I was doing Friday weigh-in's, which were nice because if I went a little off during the weekend, I could focus during the work week and make progress.  I think the Monday weigh-in will be a good challenge by itself!

I've got 30 pounds to lose by New Year's, so let's say 20 for the summer, since that's the easiest time to be active.

I would love to join this group. I have gained weight during the winter and I am eager to get my body back. Count me in. :)

I'm in. I skipped the May weightloss challenge and it wasn't such a great idea.

So I'm definitley up for a longer challenge that will hopefully keep me more motivated than I can keep myself. Smile

Currently: 166.6lbs (started at 271 last June)
I'll officially weigh in on Monday (probably heavier, as this will be a bad weekend haha)
