Glad to meet you both! I'll post my weight in the morning. I am so glad to have some help with this. I will try to check this thread just about evey day. I can't wait to walk around 30 pounds lighter!

I'm in,  txtina! Great timing for me; that was exactly my goal for the summer (well, August 18). I've lost nearly 5 so far.

Totally in it sounds great! Is it okay if I join; I only want to lose 10 pounds and gain a lot of muscle before our trip to Maui, Hawaii on September 11th!

I'm in! This is the first group I've joined. I think it will help and I like the idea of celebrating together. I'm 5'4" and I want to lose 15-20 lbs by Labor Day. (by my calculation, at 2 lbs per week it should be 22 lbs by then? am I doing the math wrong?)

Step one: I had a great day today and kept to my calorie goal for the first time in too long.

Count me in! I am 5'6" and looking to lose 15 pounds. 

I am looking forward to getting some motivation!

I am going to try this too! I have never done anything like this. I am trying to lose 25lbs by October3. My daughter is getting married and I want to look and feel great in my dress.

       &nb sp;  I have been so good this last week. I also workout atleast 3 times a week at Curves.

I am soooooo in! I have never joined a group / forum before. Im excited to share and hear of everyone's success in September! I will be weighing in bright n' early tomorrow morning. We can do it!

Hi! I almost wasn't going to join because you are all a fair bit smaller than me. But I figured maybe that's what I need by way of encouragement and motivation: a bunch of girls who are already pretty healthy already and striving to be the best they can be :D

I've found a 12 week weight loss program on the cc website, and will try to follow it. It has recommended activity for each day along with links to forms for tracking weekly progress.

I am way over in left field but would like to join with an odd set of conditions.

At the present time because of an injury that is going to take a lengthly time to heal I cannot commit to any exercise program that would be necessary for losing a sustained amount of weight. Yet I do not want to gain weight during my time of immobility. For the motivation and commitment belonging to a group brings I would like to join with all of you in my effort to keep on track TO NOT GAIN ANY WEIGHT between now and Labor Day.

I would weight in each week and record any gains, OR LOSES, I might experience. Also iI pledge to you my best efforts to succeed in maintaining, and hopefully even losing, during the time of your challenge.
