Hi, I am new to cc by a week and this is the first group or challenge for me to join. I would love to be a part of this challenge to help keep me on track and motivated.

We are off to a great start. I hope everyone had a nice long weekend.
I am happy to see we have people who are near goal as well as those of us to have further to go. If you have a great tip, please share. Or, if you have a question or concern about your plan, put it out to the group. There are 28 of us, so we should be able to offer several unique perspectives.
Remember weigh in will be on Monday, so be good to your body and hopefully the scales will be good to you!
I am asking the moderator to accept new sign-ups until tommorow (May 27). I am going to ask if there is a way to do "by invitation only" so we could invite friends to join our group.

Ultimate goal weight: 141 lbs (like to keep it a little "odd")

OK. I'm just under 5'3", 172.8,
goal weight for Labor day: 157 (always a slow loser, even when working very hard... now that I am 50- even slower!)
ultimate goal: 130 and lots of energy!

I just read a couple of the last page of posts... it's possible I won't 'officially' be in this group, since I missed the Memorial Day sign in... that's OK. I will still follow it, and consider myself 'in' and challenged! Just didn't see the challenge until today- Wed.
Hey everyone. I just found this challenge a few min. ago and I hope I'm not too late to join. I'm 45 years old . I started dieting on March 1, 2009 at 162.8 am now at 144.2. (almost lost first 20 yah).

ultmate goal:106
I work out to Taebo 5 days a week , walk everyday (started 40 min, now 70 min) do pilates (spot work on butt and thighs and shoulders and arms) 1 day a week, ab work 6 days a wk. I love the idea of taking the pledge .
I didn't have room on my last post for my pledge, so here it is
I hereby commit to this weight loss challenge in front of all you nice people, that I will endeavor to stay on track, eat in a healthy manner, and follow my chosen exercise plan from now until Labor Day, 2009!

Hey Chevy! - Our stats are similar. I'm going to be 27 in July, 5'2" and 216 right now. I wish I had found CC when I was still under 200 but I'm really excited to get back there! Good luck!
If it's not too late, I'd like to be in:
Stats: 5'4", Age 28, Starting 197.4 (in 2007; Jan.2009 had me at 170), Current is 169.4. Goal is 155 by the end of this challenge.
Weigh in #1: Monday, May 25: 169.4 Memorial Day weekend was too good to me! It didn't help that I sprained my toe on Friday and couldn't do much but watch TV.

Hi everyone-
A few nights ago I created a very user-friendly and functional food diary template in Excel. It is complete with a separate tab for each 7-day week starting Monday May 25 (Memorial Day) through to September 07th (Labor Day). The template has a spot for inputting what excercise you did for each day in detail, as well as a place to input your weekly Monday morning weigh-ins.
I would be more than happy to share it with all of you. I think it would be a great tool for tracking our progress as well as in making ourselves aware of how we could improve our diets. Please send me a message with your email address if you would like me to send it to you.
