So my husband and I decided to have our own little "Biggest Loser Competition." I was warned that men have a tendency to lose weight faster then women. I figured sure ok, but this morning my husband got on the scale and he's lost as much weight as me (4lbs.) I'M the ONE going to the gym every other night for and hour or more and writing down everything I eat and counting calories. I already had the feeling I should have lost more than that by now. So that's just the icing on the cake.
I also heard that it's harder to lose weight in the winter time. That could have just been my co-worker trying to console me. It's just so frustrating, but I hope to use this as fuel for the fire and not a reason to give up! ![]()
Anybody else hear these sayings? Are they just old wives tales?
men do loose weight faster than women, they have more muscle mass overall.. so that's true.. the winter thing... i dunno lol
Is jump roping as good an exercise as running?
