Men's size 0

Quote  |  Reply
Are there any men here who want to be a size 0 (36 chest, 28 waist)? It's my goal.

Can I ask why?

I saw that picture on your profile "I want to be like him" Why?

Personal female perspective - not attractive, not sexy, and no, I just wouldn't
I didn't realize mens clothes came in a size 0. Huh.
I've never bought Men's clothes that were sized like that.

Guys clothes that I've bought are either sized S, M, L, XL, XXL, et. al.

or things like.. 18 1/2, 36/37 (dress shirt) or 42 waist 32 length (pants)

... never heard of Size 0 clothes for guys.
I had a 27 inch waist and was 119 lbs back when I was 17, but not so much since then.

Never heard of a 0 for guys either, but a 28 inch waist is pretty skinny. Maybe shoot for 30-32?
According to Dr. Oz, in "You on a Diet", the "healthy waist size" for men is supposedly, on average, about Waist Size 35. I think it's actually a range. I just rememeber the 35.
are you emo? jk..most of those guys like to wear tight tiny pants =0

Wow really? 35 is big on me cause I am a little guy. I am a 36-38 now and really heavy for my size. I am happy with a 34 but would love to be a 32 again.

Maybe it is based on frame?

christianbalediet, are you a small framed guy like me? (5 ft 7 in)....if you are bigger than that, then a 28 inch waist is WAY too thin in my opinion.
I'm getting close to the supposed Size 0. Right now my chest is 36" and my waist is 31". I dont think I want to get to a 28" waist...that would be way too skinny for my frame. I'm aiming for 30" at the lowest.
There is no way I will ever be a "0". I go by body fat, currently I am at  Weight is 230 34W 44/46C with 11% body fat...I am happy with that would like to get down to 220-225 not sure that is possible but we will see.
I gotta say, certain girls (me included) like the thin, small-framed guys.
Haha, personally not liking the skinny look.

I like guys with a big build, someone who can hold me and I feel like they're taking care of me.

If a guy's skinny, I feel like i have to take care of him. Which is weird. :)
I'm the opposite. I prefer smaller builds and I don't really like the feeling of being the protected one; I'd prefer our physical strength levels to be about equal and him not to be much bigger than me; skinny if taller, closer to average if super-short.

Just goes to show that everybody wants something different, I guess. :)
A healthy waist size would probably depend on your body type.  I am at a healthy weight and have a medium body type and am currently wearing a size 34 in pants.

Those numbers don't seem to match with your 230 photo in the tux...

i can't even imagine how'd you'd buy clothes! my bf is a 38-40 chest and 30 waist, and he can NEVER find pants small enough! granted, he's cut like no one's business and therefore looks incredible, but clothes-buying is a huge hassle.

Me too, just don't think the OP should hurt himself or feel he HAS to be that way...

I honestly have no idea how many people are that small or whatever, but that does sound very, very thin. Just don't hurt yourself trying to get there.

32 wait and 42 chest....  I couldnt see my waist getting smaller than 30    I could reach 28 but It would be way to small for me, and id probably have to some serious cutting back on Cals to every get there

Regardless of gender, one must not be too thin and skinny! It is very harmful in the long run.
