I'm guessin yes, you probably would! But it might be fun to see what anwers we get before it gets shut down! The question is, is it worth the risk? Hmmmm....

You don't have to kill anything to get it and you're not eating flesh... so I'm guessing it's vegetarian, but it does technically come from an animal since humans are animals, so I'm guessing it's not vegan? I realize the "animal" isn't being mistreated, but if I'm not mistake, it is to eat/use nothing from an animal right?"

And, do you think I'll get modded?  Should I post it anyway?  Thoughts?

I was vegetarian for 18 years, 1 of that was vegan.  I still eat a lot of vegan foods. 

i mean food that's vegan, not food made of vegans.

I eat meat but I don't swallow.    At least not lately.

LOL!  Maybe its vegan if the guy is vegan.  I once knew a vegetarian who wouldn't use fish emulsion in his organic garden because it has fish in it! 

I think proposing this question is going to make some BFs of vegans unhappy.

I think the thing with veganism is that you can't ask an animal if it's ok for you to take their meat or milk or skin or honey or whatever, so you don't take those things because you can't get their consent.

I'm pretty sure most guys would give their consent to guzzle their mustard, so... I'd say swallowing is vegan. But you're right some vegans would probably take issue with this. Unfortunately, veganism sometimes goes hand in hand with crazy.
