Messed up my diet... really bad... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
Im going on vacation in 4 days... ive been really working hard to lose weight before i leave and last night i screwed everything up! i usually eat lean meats, veggies, and fruit but last night i had 3 slices of pizza, a twix, cinnamon breadsticks, a piece of cake, and like 3 handfuls of raisins RIGHT BEFORE I WENT TO BED!!! Also, i didnt work out last night! ugh. i feel like crap today and am so mad at myself for doing that. After the second slice i pretty much thought "well... i already messed up so i might as well go all out" now its the next morning and i feel like im the size of a house, all swollen from the carbs and sodium.
I am DESPERATE for help!!! How do i get back on track and get fit before i leave for my vacation!? Im visiting a guy and really want to look good when i arrive!

Relax... You haven't 'screwed everything up' by eating a bit more than normal for a day. In fact, it was probably just your body protesting at what you've been doing to lose weight up to now and asking for a top up of energy.
How to get back on track..... eat normally. Don't go back to 'lean meats, veggies and fruit' because that kind of imbalance (and lack of food) will often lead to more bingeing.... if not now, certainly when you're on holiday and wanting to relax.
Drink plenty of fluids so that you feel less bloated and then eat lightly but sensibly.... including carbohydrates please, because your body really needs them. The guy you're visiting won't notice if you're 5lbs heavier or lighter, trust me.
Relax...just count your calories and remember that short fixes don't work, and by the same token, one, two, or even week-long lapses aren't catostrophic.
Four days is not enough time to lose a significant, noticable amount of weight. But I do get the bloated bit. Just drink lots of water, cut back on the salt, and eat some fiber...All Bran Buds are your best bet there.
You won't lose weight before you go, but you will feel better. Don't starve yourself. You're too important to those who love you and yourself to go down that road.

If you've been working really hard to lose weight, one night of indulgence isn't going to destroy everything you've accomplished so far!
To add my two cents worth - I agree with the previous responses. Get back on track for the next few days, eat healthily, get adequate sleep, and maybe pump up your workouts a little bit.
You haven't done any long term, or irreparable damage. If you take care of yourself for the next few days before you leave you'll feel better, all of your hard work will still be apparent, and you'll still look fabulous for your vacation!
Don't worry about it! Just move forward :)

Look, I know exactly what you went through, I just posted a very similar topic a few nights ago.
I got a lot of really great advice from my post and like everyone else has said, your body was in a bit of retaliation mode. It was like gimme gimme gimme. What
I did (for the next 3 or 4 days) keep in line with "healthy" eating, just adding some things I was forbidding myself to eat, ever so often. So my body thanked me and I dropped -A Pound .2!!
As well drinking plenty of water, hoping to flush all the nasty feeling away!

Woah, don't freak out. It happens to everyone once in awhile! Sometimes, you have cravings that need to be indulged (especially if you've been restrictive), but it's certainly not the end of the world or anything to panic about. For example, last Sunday, I had: 3 glasses of wine, 2 jiggers of scotch, 3 huge pieces of shepherd's pie, a giant caesar salad, 3 s'mores, and countless marshmallows. I was kind of bloated the next day - and weighed like 4 lbs more than I did Saturday, but by Tuesday I was back down to that weight. In fact, today I'm actually a lb lighter. So, work out a bit, drink a lot of water, and eat normally. It'll flush out the excess water weight, and you'll be fine.
Chill out. Go to the gym today. Duh.
