Does anyone know?

Does your caloric needs go up or change when you have pms or during your menses?

I wish! Haha I am so ravenous during my period! But, after tons of extensive research, they do not change. It is pretty typical to confuse hunger signals with intense cravings as your hightened hormonal levels will give you cravings like no tomorrow. Stay strong! Or at least try to, a few chocolate bars never hurt anyone(; 

i know! i could easily eat everything in my cupboard........and fridge..........and order pizza the week before my period........exercise helps me though, after a good workout im more likely to want something healthy, and, bonus, it usually helps cramps too......:)

This article (without citations) would have you believe what you probably want to hear. That you do burn more.

These articles support that, but with a healthy grain of salt if you read them through ...

A University of Colorado study from 1923 ... that's 19freakin23 ... says no difference whatsoever.

A Weight Watchers article that suggests the changes are minor.

These super hard core fitness nuts say it could slightly help shed a pound per year.

T-T-T-Too much time on my hands ... =)
