I am CRAVING Mexican food and since it's the weekend decided we will go out tonight but I'm not sure if there are any heathier options...

Any suggestions?

eh - fajita salad with dressing on the side?

I like to get fajitas with vegetables instead of rice and beans and I'll skip the tortillas - just mix it all up, but I know that there's quite a bit of oil involved so I wouldn't say that it's healthy - just healthier than the alternative.

Get a grilled chicken dish with beans and veggies?
How about fish tacos? I had 2 shrimp tacos yesterday with avocado and chipotle mayo sauce. Each taco had 2 corn tortillas. It was wayy too many calories (and way too filling for me too), but if i used 1/2 of the chipotle sauce, cut out the avocados, & took off 1 tortilla, that would be in my limit.

i love Mexican food and have found that ordering a veggie toastada minus the sour cream and not eating the tortilla is the closest to eating healthily I can get.

At some real taquerias they have a 'heart friendly' menu...
I was just a mexican place last week and I ordered a burrito, minus the cheese, sour cream and guac.  I only ate the insides and none of the tortilla.  I figured it wasn't bad at all!

Chicken or veggie fajitas with corn tortillas.  getting the corn tortilllas saves a ton of calories....and they are more flavorful than the flour ones!!  Actually a pretty healthy meal!
