I put cinnamon on mine when I microwave them, but I have heard that other people put sugar (real or "fake), nutmeg, etc. Really, you can put any seasoning you want -- or even nothing. They are delish!

Oooo I do this all the time... but since I'm worried my poor apple will dry out if I microwave it too long, I always cook it like this.

1. Core the apple, fill the inside with a mixture of cinnamon + nuts + raisins + sugar/sugar substitute + rolled oats/granola

2. Dose the apple and the mixture with 1/4-1/3 cup diet coke.

3. Microwave for 2-3 minutes!

Modify the recipe as you wish, and you have a pretty simple, quick and tasty treat that's also fairly healthy :) enjoy!

^ aside from the diet coke - that sounds delicious!!

I used to eat this every morning! Haha. I would slice the apple, and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar/splenda on the slices and nuke it for 60-80 seconds.

yum
