Microwaving vegetables...
I've heard several different opinions on this and I'm curious to see what you all have to say about it.
Is it worthless to eat vegetables that have been microwaved?
I usually buy frozen vegetables and microwave them, since I'm not home much so buying fresh veggies is hard, and I find stovetop cooking to be a bother.
Any method of cooking vegetables, and especially things like green beans and peas lose some nutrients that drain out into the water, so if you're like most people and dont drink the veggie juice you do lose alot of the stuff you'd get by eating your produce fresh, but like I said, any way you cook it, nutrients are still going to be lost, but not to any harmful extent.... If you're worried about not getting your daily requirements take a multi-vitamin or drink v8 like me =] yummyyyyy

Thanks. :)
I think buying fresh vegetables and leaving them in the fridge all week reduces nutrient content. Atleast the frozen vegetables were flash frozen at their peak nutrition. I actually heard they were better than fresh.
I guess atleast your making an effort to eat vegetables unlike many people now a days.
