Mid-Morning Snacks

I've decided to really focus on eating every 2 hours. My breakfast was very high in protein and fiber (SB Diet Meal Replacement Bar). I'm looking forward to the mid-morning snack, but don't know what the best choice will be to keep the calories burning and my brain working.

What are your favorite mid-morning snacks and why?

(my choices today include: banana, raisins, soynuts, carrots & celery)

bananas and yogurt! :)
my favorite is a yogurt with grapenuts mixed in.  Have just just about every day. 
I'm agreeing with the yogurt! I just have a yoplait light yogurt cup. Occasionally I'll have cottage cheese with mandarin oranges.

I love what kae said! I really like putting grape nuts in my yogurt!! Haven't done that in a while though, maybe I should start again! :)
Today I had half a pack of instant oatmeal and stirred in 1 teaspoon of peanut butter. it is really delicious, has fiber and protein, and fills me up until lunch.
mmmm. I like the peanut butter idea! That's how I like my Grape Nuts :)
I hate yogurt, unfortunately!!!  I love apples and natural peanut butter or 100% orange juice.  Today I had 1/2 c. natural applesauce (no sugar added...)
I, too, eat just about every 2 hours, and I eat at least one banana every day.  Usually, it's the food I choose from my goodie bag at that 10a.m.ish time.  That or yogurt.

I eat a Kashi chewy granola bar for a midmorning snack...they are high in both fiber and protein:)
speaking of mid-morning snack... i was just about to have mine at work (small banana). i was peeling it just as i was reading this thread and accidentally dropped it on the floor! it's in the trash now, so no mid-morning snak for me! argh!
my fave mid-morning snack is a vitamuffin or vitatop.  YUM.
half of a whole wheat pita, smeared with 2 tbs of roasted red pepper hommus, and stuffed to the rim with fresh spinach!!! MMMMMM

I am allergic to bananas,  Get severe doubling over pain.  You would think I would have stopped eating them, but just resently came to grips with it

Thomas' 100% whole wheat english muffin or bagel.  It has high fiber and protein.  I like yogurt and fruits too. 
Mid morning snack is a cup of Optimum Power Cereal (190 cals) and a South Beach Meal Replacement protien bar (210 cals)...

It's kind of sad that my mid-morning snack consists of 400 calories, but that's the only way that I can get eat enough for the day.
