Mid 20's, 5'8, female, 100 Pounds to lose

I'm looking for a new weight loss buddy.  I had made a great friend on here and we were tracking our journey together and really seeing great results.  However, she seems to have completely left CC and I need some support!  Anyone else out there with similar stats want to work together on this?

My Story:

I'm 24-- almost 25, and I started using this site regularly January 9th.  My weight at the time was 260 pounds.  Now, I'm down to 239 and counting (down)!  I work out 3-5 times/week at LA Fitness and primarily do the elliptical machine and some weight training.  I'm looking for other positive people who want to share ideas and successes.

Hi, I am new to the site but am very excited to start my weight loss journey.  I just turned 36 am 5'9 and weighed in last night at 236.  I've been successful with WW in the past and lost 35lbs but regained it with a second baby and wanted to try something new.  I'd love to share ideas, stories and successess too.  Having a support network is crucial!!

HI! You're going to love this site-- everyone is very helpful and offers up any information that you could ever need.  Having a support buddy is so important to me b/c then I don't feel like I'm doing this all on my own.

Good Morning! I was just browsing and found this thread and it resonated with me. I am 32, 5'7", and 236.5 (as of this morning). My highest weight was 264 and that was last year. I'm having trouble getting out of the 230's. Last week I was at 233 but this week that's up 3.5 lbs. Very frustrating!!!! I don't really talk to my family about weight issues because I guess they are wearing blinders and they always just say "but you look fine". So I could really use some friends to help keep motivated!!

I'm 25, 5'7.5 and definitely have 100lbs (or more) to lose! I started the site on Feb 4, 2008.

Congrats on your weightloss so far! That's great! I'm actually at 277lbs right now, down from 298 when I started. I primarily use the elliptical for exercise as well, but really don't get on it as much as I should.

Best of luck with it! I'm always here support or a kick in the butt. I know I could use that pretty often! lol

Also the "girls in their 20s who want to lose 100lbs" group is awesome! Great support group there! :)

I am 30 but I still feel like I am in my 20's. I have about 50lbs to lose I am 5'9 220lbs. I would love to keep in touch please make me a friend as I will do the same. Every here has been soo supportive and very helpful, knowlegdable. Congrats so far maybe you can acually be of assistance to me!
