This is just a shout out to all of those going through recovery out there- from anything really I guess. I'm currently trying to be okay with gaining some weight. I went to an information meeting about the Peace Corps tonight and it just put things in perspective. In order to follow our dreams and do what we love and be proactive and enjoy life to the fullest it works in our favor to be as Healthy as possible! That includes a lot- not only being at a healthy weight, but being comfortable with ourselves. It's a long road, but I'm really pulling for everyone on this site and I know how influential your support has been to me, so thanks a lot. Anyway, when I got home I realized that it definately wouldn't hurt me to eat a bit more (yup, even though I had gone out to dinner and was already breaking even at maintenance for the day- occasionally I still have a mental issue getting over maintenance...) so I just wanted to share that I am sitting down to a big bowl of oatmeal with a banana mixed in (during the cooking process so it's all creamy and delish!) along with some apple butter- it's totally hitting the spot- not only because it tastes amazing, but because I know that I'm doing the right thing by nourishing myself and I truly believe that we can and Will succeed at this.
So keep on keepin' on guys!!-jess

That's awesome! You are so right about how we need to be healthy as possible to enjoy life to its fullest. Thanks for the inspiring post and keep up the good work!
