Pick whichever one you want, but be consistent with it so that you can tell quickly what your totals are for any given day without trying to remember which snacks belong to what days (Much of my snacking is done after midnight and it can get confusing if I'm inconsistent- for example it is 12:30am right now and I'm only just now sitting down to dinner, which I certainly can't count towards tomorrow or else I'll have to undereat tomorrow to stay below my limit).

Personally, I count it from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. Otherwise I find it to be too arbitrary.

I totally agree, unless I out or its super late I count a day as from when I wake up until I go to bed.

If I've had enough calories for the day and then eat after midnight before bed, I count it to the next day.  It feels like cheating almost, but bottom line, I'm recording all my calories.

thank you everybody :)
