i might be pregnant! can i take a test now??

my period started the 22nd of may, and its the 15th of june, my next period is suppose to start in 3-4 days...is it too early or just right!?   plus! im on clomid too so is there a chance after all that i maybe preggers??! i hope!

It's a little too early. A fertilised egg takes about a week to implant, after which a hormone called human chorionic gonadotrophin starts getting released. This is the hormone that pregnancy tests detect. It all depends when your body ovulated and when the egg got fertilised to start the procedure of implantation. I would advise waiting another week and then taking the test. Also, if you do get a period, you may still be pregnant.

No it's not too early. When i got pregnant, i tested a week before my period was due. Buy a 2 pack and go ahead and test. If it's negative, you can use the second one again in a week or so if you haven't started your period. If it's positive, congratulations!

I would wait a few more days.  I am currently pregnant an even though I was doing the pickle thing I waited till the day before I was supposed to start.  But that is because mine is very irregular.  Sometimes it would come a week early then sometimes just a few days early.

Some tests may be able to detect the pregnancy hormone this early, but personally, I'd wait until the day of your missed period (if you miss it).  With my son, I took a home test the day of my missed period.  The positive result was so faint that it was hard to decide if it really was positive.  I'd bought a two-pack, so I waited a few more days and took it again with a clearly positive result.  This time, however, I took a home test the day of my missed period, and it was very positive!  :)  Just remember, if you do take a home test now, you may get a false negative result, so test again in a few days. Even if the line is faint, it's positive, the tests can't read a positive if the pregnancy hormones aren't in your body. I still say there is nothing wrong with testing now. if it's negative, you can always test again in a week or so. You can also get inexpensive off brand tests that are cheaper if you are going to test a couple of times. good luck!

I know there is a test (I forgot what it is called though) that is advertised as being able to take early like in your case - maybe ask the pharmacist.  Good luck!

I've stressed out over this SO many times. You could take it now, of course.  I recommend waiting because you might not be pregnant.  I'd say wait 4-7 days (ex: how long your cycle is) after the 15th.  It'll save you some bucks on buying a test if it turns out to be a false alarm. 

I recommend Wal-Mart.  You can get 3 tests for $9.99.

I aways took my test about 3-4 days before I was suppose to get my period. I wanted to know, now. I got my results then. I did not have to wait until after I was late. It is up to you though. Like the others though i would recomend a multi pack, just in case you get a false negative.

Some Dollar Tree stores have tests and they are suppose to be pretty accurate. If you just can't wait, it may be more cost effective to buy some of these. $1.00 for 1 vs $10.00 for 2
