Might be a stupid question

But if you are to consume say 1750 calories a day to lose weight and you went over it by say 100, but you exercised say 700 calories, are you still considered ok or do you have to make it 1750 exactly and never go over?

no that's good. It's better to exercise more and eat more to lose weight, rather than just cutting calories alone.

What you said would be like eating 1150 calories and doing no exercise.. if you see what I mean. It's better your way though because its good for your metabolism :)

First of all, there are no stupid questions :)

Evemarie is right, it is better to eat a bit more if you're going to exercise. You're doing the right thing.

Thanks ladies, wasn't sure on that one.
