50 miles a month, 100 miles a month!!

Quote  |  Reply

Hi,

I'm just starting a group of walkers/hikers!  (no runners please you just make me feel bad LOL)  Interval walk/joggers welcome!  Basically anyone who thinks 100 miles in a month seems Impossible!

I have set myself with a goal of Eventually walking 100 miles every month.  I'm Starting slow with 50 miles a month.

To break that down 50 miles a month is ~12 miles a week.

which is ~1.6 miles a day

So far I have 11.6 for the month of April.  Anyone want to join?

This weekend (weather permitting) I'll hike ~10 miles up Mt. Evans!  One of Colorado's 14'ners!

FYI: I am using Map my Walk (online) to help figure out the distance I cover for every walk, a Pedomiter is also a great tool for this.

LOL!!

Hope your fur baby gets well soon!

ugh rain!!!! No walk during lunch! booo!!!

**17 miles down, 33 miles to go!**

Well I just mapped a new ruite that I can take the dog on tonight... Thankfully free of Goose Poop.

2.6 miles tonight, followed by Trying to fix my cable modem... which the puppy broke shortly after me and my BF broke up last night...

grr.

Ran a mile this am!

**18 miles down, 32 miles to go!**

Farts.

I lost track of my Milage so far... I'm going to guess low and say that I am just at 25 after last nights dog walk.

I had dinner with an old friend, it was all very nice.

lil, I think that's right. The last time you posted your total mileage was on the 14th and you were at 20. The post after that said you were going to do 2.5 miles. So that plus your doggie walking you make it 25.1! Good job!

~Sarah

Yaayyy!!!

*hugs for lil*

I did 3 miles on Wednesday and I just did 4 miles today.  Took the day off from work...I am having one of those days...I didn't do any where near what I usualy do.

I think I am at 83.4 mile

thank god I'm not the only one feeling unproductive today

lol Unproductive with Stomach cramps...

haha! I guess it was that kind of day

Woo hoo... I'm pretty excited!  Today me and the "fur baby" go to Portland!

Tomarrow evening I'll have dinner with my best friend and her hunny, sunday we'll hang out and sunday after noon they will drop me and Grendel (the fur baby) off at the Columbia Gorge trail.

Then Grendel and I will walk ~35 miles around the park, camping untill Thursday night.  Thursday someone will come and drive us back to civilization.

Friday is my best budds wedding, then Friday, sat, and Sunday I get to spend at the lugurious Embasy suites with the fur baby.  I'll get a pedicure, do some shoping, sleep and watch TV.  It'll ROCK.

See you guys Next Tuesday!

lil: Sounds like so much fun! I didn't know you were doing it alone! Well I guess not totally since Grendel will be with you! (((((Hugs))))) I'll be walking with you in spirit! Have fun!

I'm a def interval walk/jogger...but want to one day be a runner! I'm down, although, I will have to start low (I have sooo many workouts in a week!), but I will shoot for 2 miles at a time on the treadmill and up it from there (about 20 a month)!

Sounds like fun!

Oh....I forgot to mention, I'm doing my first 5k this June! :)
