MiMi's Cafe... help?

Quote  |  Reply
Has anyone eaten there. Tomorrow I have a lunch date with a old friend and we decided to go there cause they just opened up and it seems very cute.
What can I get that is somewhat healthy. everything is about 900 to 1200 calories for one dish.

Someone posted a link to the "Healthy Dining Finder" the other day (great site!)...
http://www.healthydiningfinder.com/site/

This is what it shows for Mimi's Cafe.....
http://www.healthydiningfinder.com/site/diner s/findrestaurants/nutritional_info.php?id=mim iscafe-48529

DietFacts.com  also has some nutrition info for Mimi's...
http://www.dietfacts.com/list.asp?brand=mimi_ s_cafe

Also, Mimi's has an online Menu. If you click on a category it shows the menu...then at the bottom of the page it has a
link to "View Additional Info" which will show you the nutritional values....

Hope this helps!

I didn't know Mimi's was a chain!  They have awesome quiche there.  I'm sure it's terrible for you, but you should order it anyway. :-)

What to order @ Mimi's Cafe:

- Citrus Salmon with the dressing on the side

- Chicken & Fruit SANS muffin! & Dressing on the side

- Vegetarian Veggie Soup (no croutons - if offered)

- Mimi's chopped Cobb Salad (without bacon or blue cheese & with dressing on the side & go easy on the avocado - ask for red & green peppers to replace the bacon & perhaps some crunchy cabbage too)

- Salmon Nicoise Salad (ask for no potatoes or feta or muffin & the dressing on the side)

- Mahi Mahi (with no macadamia crust & ask for veggies on the side not potatoes)

- Cajun Blackened Salmon (no potato extra veggies)

- Fillet of Sole (no potato extra veggies)

- Grilled Chicken Tuscan Style (as for sauce on side if there is any, litely sauteed veggies, no garlic crouton or mashed potatoes)

** Oh and PLEASE PLEASE do not get dessert - ITS KILLER!!!

The Triple Chocolate Brownie = 1950 calories!!!

The Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie = 1879 calories!!

YOWZA!!!

The first thing to do is get a box to bring half of it home!! Everything is huge, thus the high calorie count.  But it's a great place.  Have fun!!Wink
