My house is really (really) tiny.  And I can not afford monthy dues at a gym.

So I do my workouts at home.  I am considering buying a mini elliptical machine.

They are about the size of a mini stair stepper.  But I wonder if it will be worth the space or money.

Has anyone tried one?

What do you think?

by the way this would be a "stop gap" machine.  Something I can do when the weather is bad or I am limited to late night workouts.

My situation is exactly like yours. my work schedule has changed and so have the seasons but i don't want to break my routine! did you ever wind up buying one? if so, is it working out?

thanks!

I have a mini elliptical and use it almost every morning for about 40 minutes.  I really work up a sweat.  I'm not sure how accurate the calorie counter is on it, and I haven't played with the tension on it too much, but i do like it.  Having no other time to workout or go to the gym (two year old at home and full time job), I find this to be a nice alternative.
