Mini Goals for the month of January. What are yours?

My mini goals for the month of January is...................

  • Lose 3 pounds.
  • Eat 1400-1600 calories per-day.
  • Workout 4 days a week. 2 light workouts and 2 hard workouts.
  • Drink more water. (96oz-128oz)
  • Reach a 28 waist line.
  • Lose 1.5 to 2 inches off each thigh.
  • AND bring in the rear in a little bit.

This is my focus plan.

I'm new and just starting so My goal for the month is to follow through.  I hope I can lose five pounds this month.

Be more active- work my way up to 30 minutes on the exercise bike at a varied resistance level ( right now I can do 20 min. at rest.1) 4-5 times a week

 Eat 1300-1500 calorie per day.  I haven't made it  yet!

I want to drop those last 2 annoying pounds. Concentrate on lifting weights more and hopefully up the amount of push ups I can do from 10 to 15. I'm a vegetarian and I would like to work on eating less eggs and cheese.

Hey Lynn

- lose 2 pounds

- lose inches

- stick with 1700 calories on lifting days

- drink my required 64oz of water maybe more

- do not quit NROLFW

- stick with my calorie counting on the weekends <-- My biggest challenge

I have got to work on mini goals, I've been failing at getting where I want to be for a year now so I need to start off slow and succeed!!

January - get to 150lbs or less.  This is only 3lbs for me but I'm struggling.

Complete at least 1 x heavy weights session each week.

Complete at least 1 x 5k run / elliptical / row each week.

Complete at least an hours ballroom dancing each week.

My husband and I moved to the UK Sept 07 and I haven't seen my family since, we're going to visit March and I can't wait. I've lost 12kg in total and loads of inches of my waist bum and thighs.

I would however like to loose at least another 2 cm around my bum, and 1 cm around each thigh.

My biggest hurdle is saying no to chocolates..... why o why is it so difficult??!! My husband likes chocolate but can go without it for AGES when I see it, I want it!

So 4 top goals

1. Stop eating chocolates

2. Loose 2 cm around bum, 1cm around each thigh

3. Stick to clean eating plan (1400 - 1600 cals)

4. Stick to 4 workouts per week - have been keeping this one up for nearly a year so put it in as a bonus! Smile

My January goal is to GO to the gym, once l'm there l do what l need to do, but going is the challenge. l work 3, 12hour shifts and on those 4days that l'm off it is a challenge to go to the gym.

My sister is on a similar schedule and I can only imagine that I wouldn't want to do anything on my days off. You can do it Nina!

Lose 5 pounds, increase my mileage on the treadmill, and cook instead of eating out so much (need to save some $$$)...

  1. Stop using the "F" bomb!
  2. Stay focused and keep my eye on the goal....lose 30 lbs.
  3. Treadmill 3 times a week.

Hann, I have the roughest time with calroies.. I'm under my 1300 one day.. I'm over 1600 the next.. That's going to be a job. I'm going for it.

ink- I hope you lose those 2 pounds. They just want to hang around.

Ama- Try for more on your workout days with the water.

Sunny- I love the ballroom dancing each week. I really love it.

boud- That's mines too, but I still have a pcs every morning. Dark Chocolate is good for the heart. You can make room for 3 a day. I try to.. You just can't go cold turkey.

Nina- You can DO IT!

lizzie- I been trying to shot for 20 miles a week. I check them off. So far.. We are up to 4 miles.. 16 more miles to go.

Dig- Stop using the F bomb! And business.. Different.

Adding to that list of mines..

Start Letting my pit walk me again, because he miss his walks at the park.

-Go from a size 25 to a size 24.

-No unhealthy compensation for eating unhealthy foods

-Continue using my food journal daily

-Workout 45 minutes or more EVERYDAY.

I would like to loose 6 pounds this month. I am really good on weekdays. I don't know what happens to me on weekends. My biggest weakness is if I slack off one day, Just one day of exercise, I eat more. Like there is a direct connection with my food intake and exercise. Than, I don't feel like exercising for few days and there goes the famous cycle. This is bad and has to stop. I will make it stop this month and will achieve this goal.Smile

I'm going to keep it simple. I'm just starting out, so I'm sure there's plenty of water weight to lose. I'm aiming for 5 lbs. this month. It should be a breeze and the small success will keep me motivated.

My goals for this month are:

-drink more water

-eat more "real" foods and eliminate those diet foods and fake sugars from my diet

-maintain my weight

-continue marathon training and raise the money I need for the leukemia foundation (team in training)

-be happy with myself and my body

My goals are to break into the 150's and to increase my running speed.

lose 5 pounds by doing the 30 day shred everyday, and cardio at the gym 3x per week. and eating vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, and fruit, and counting my calories.

No cheat days for me...a cheat meal here or there will do, but i need to quit the weekends where I relax and shove ridiculous amounts of food in my face!

My mini goal is to exercise Three times a week! AHH I said it! My eating habits are in check most of the time is the sitting on the couch and doing nothing that kills me.

So exercise is the big thing for me.

My mini-goals for January are

  • Get back to eating 1400-1500 calories a day.
  • No more binging on sugar loaded crap just because it's there.
  • Get into the weight lifting groove... Workout at least 3 times a week.
  • Find a full-time day job! My night job is only giving me like 12-hours a week.
  • Finish those damned art commissions! They've been sitting around in my sketchbook (or half coloured on the computer) for a while now.

Mainly I just want to get back into my older, better habits from before Christmas. I even threw out the remnants of a Terry's mint-chocolate orange from xMas and dumped the rest of the eggnog to get me started! (plus they weren't as good as I remembered them being anyways). Ohhohoho >: D

  • Get down to the 150s
  • Go to the gym 3 times a week
  • Get more exercise, be more active
  • Work on homework and study more
