What's the minimum workout you should get to be considered actually excercising? With my working schedule I plan to do at least 3 times a day for 30 minutes to an hour?

Thats all you need.
Did you mean to say 3-times-week? Anything is better than nothing. That amount of time could work at the right intensity.

Some people starting out will find it easier to do lower intensity more often or longer duration (like a long walk every night).

The most important thing is to select something you will actually do--not make expectations so high that you set yourself up to fail.
Yeah, I mean 3 times a week. lol. 
The new guideline for women is:


Exercise. Get at least 30 minutes of moderately intense exercise on most and preferably all days, 60 to 90 minutes if you need to lose weight.
