I don't know about you, but this is HARD. Im young, Im an athlete, I came into this thinking, "wow, this cardio is going to be a piece of cake." NOT. I see now why this cardio plan works.

Today I think I reached a new high point. On the stationary today during my 18-19 minute I just closed my eyes, clenched the handles of the bike and pedaled like freddy krueger was chasing me. The pain was EXCRUTIATING, yet for some reason I loved it. Knowing that I could push through that high point must have released all those happy hormones in my brain.

I have tried HIIT before but this I think is even harder since you need to maintain that level 9 for a minute.  I really worked it on my elliptical this Saturday it was great to sweat like that again.  I do take an aerobic class on Tue and Thur and have been pushing myself harder in there too to try to reach that level 9 on my scale- I used to just use the step but now I'm using the risers and going as fast as I can.

It seems to be paying off already.  I measured myself yesterday and have lost a few inches in the waist already.

No way?! Already???!! I haven't measured myself again since I began two weeks ago. I Don't plan on measuring again till I finish 4 weeks. So far I don't think I've lost any inches. My thighs seem somewhat smaller though...
