10 Minute Trainer
It's by Tony Hart. He's the same guy that created P90X. I've seen the infomercial while getting dressed in the morning for the past 2 weeks. I just implused bought it. Just wanted to see if anyone can buddy up with me when I get it.
Hi,
I am doing the ten minute trainer by Tony Horton! I had hit a plateau dieting and wanted to try to loose another ten pounds. I read on the internet that I needed to increase my workouts so I ordered it. I have to say that it was a little pricy but well worth it! He works your whole body in 10 minutes. I was really excited to use the resistance bands as I had never tried one. Anyway, I thinks it's amazing and I can really tell the next day that I have worked out. Anyone else using it?
I've heard of it and seen the infomercials as well. I'd like to try it and if it has been a little cheaper I might have impulse bought it as well. Have you started it yet? Is it working for you?
My legs burn from the cardo.. and my sides hurt. The meal plan looks like every meal plan I ever got from the Beach Body sight.. but I'm making sure to eat healthy..
All I got to say.. I can't believe I started sweating within 5 mins of the work out.. the the Extreme Yoga.. OMG! You want to learn how to get limber.. there's your work out right there.. I'll up everyone when I have finished a week of it. According to the work out you have to work out everyday. Wish me luck.
I wanted to buy it but i was unsure of it.maybe now ill look more into it. Keep us posted. Good luck
What I liked about the work out:
1. It's 10 mins. This is the best part!
2. Every work out is intense. I'm 168 lbs... I was sweating by minute 2 of the Cardio workout.
3. I felt ever part of my body being worked out.
What I had to take into considerations:
1. I'm not fit. All of the work outs start out at full throttle, there is no.. "low impact". It's either go your pace and watch them do it twice as fast.. or don't do it at all.
2. You have to watch yourself, and make sure you are doing the movements correctly... if not.. you fall.. you will hurt yourself... and there is a possibility you might not get up. No joke.. you need a lot of room... especially if you are going to use the door strap option... (warning.. unless you are somewhat fit... don't use these till you get use to the routine).
3. It's 10 mins. Yes... one work out will work out every part of you, but you either need to do other work out... or more cardio to get a full burn. I did either 2 10 Min workouts or a 10 Min workout and 30 mins on the elipical... or 10 Min Workout and one of my Slim in 6 work outs. I think it's my mind telling me... 10 Mins is just not enough... *shrugs*
4. Eat healthly. Although the kit does come with a meal plan.. (but all Beach Body Meal Plans are the same).. I have to make sure I'm keeping withing my allowed calorie count.
I know this is a long extra but hey... you guys need to know this if you are going to try it out.
I'm 168 lbs... 5 foot tall.. and I needed something that was quick. I found it funny that during midweek I gained 3 lbs. I just kept on trucking and made myself think.. it's muscle.. your muscles are just getting strong.. and hey.. you can do push ups now! Sure as poop.. I went back to my original weight of 168 by the end of the week. I feel my arms are stronger... and my legs are shaping up nicely..
I'll update everyone again at the end of week 2.
I'm so glad I saw this! I saw the informercial this weekend and was so tempted to order it. I'm definitely going to now. Thanks!
