Has anyone tried miracle noodles. They're made with pure fiber so they have no calories. I think the site is miraclenoodle.com. If anyone has tried these, please let me know.

I like tofu shirataki and am curious about these.

I just went to the website that you suggested and the noodles are shirataki like you've had before.  They are the same thing only they have a wide variety of shapes and types.
what do tofu shirataki noodles taste like?  I've been curious.  Thanks!
Hmmmm. They don't taste like anything really. They come in a bag with liquid that smells a little nasty. You rinse them off and then I just throw them in whatever sauce I'm making. I also cut them into smaller pieces. They're slightly chewier than normal noodles, but they really arent' as weird as I was expecting them to be.

Also, sorry zani, but the miracle noodles aren't the same at all. The Miracle noodles I just ordered and will try for the first time aren't made from tofu. They're made completely from fiber. I'll let everyone know how they are. Supposedly they're calorie free! Weird, right? I guess it's like eating metamucil in noodle form. lol. I'm interested in the miracle noodles b/c they don't have the pricey shipping cost of tofu shirataki. They don't need to be refrigerated b/c they're not made w/tofu.
I tried shirataki and just couldn't get past the slippery texture.  What is different about these miracle noodles?
I'm intrigued by these ... no cals and all fiber?

When someone tries them, please give us a critique!
yeah, i'm really interested in knowing how these things taste. if anyone has them, please tell! i'd try them, but my mom is weary about buying anything on the internet, especially food, so maybe if i can get an opinion on it i can convince her (well if it's good, at least).
tofu shirataki is amazing.

they basically soak up any flavor you mix it with, but they don't work with heavy sauces (like regular pasta), so it forces you to eat healthier! Plus an entire bag is like, 20 calories.
I bought sweet potato shirataki noodles today and they are 0 calories per 1/7th of a package... which essentially means less than 3.5 cals per package...

They will take some getting used to, but I can def do that if it helps free up some other space...

Traditional shirataki noodles take on the flavor of anything you put on them and they are MUCH better than the tofu variety.  Just a heads up, you need to rinse for 5 minutes and then hand dry with a paper towel or regular towel before you use them otherwise they won't absorb any of the sauce you use.  My wife makes them for lunch everyday, they expand in your stomach because of the soluble fiber, so a little makes you feel really full! The perfect noodle, not only are they calorie free but they fill you up like nothing.

I too am interested in these noodles. Are the miracle noodles only sold online?

I have tried kelp noodles & kombu noodles which are made from seaweeds & are very filling & SUPER healthy - I have yet to try the miracle noodles but would like to soon, I doubt they have ANY flavor unless you season them yourself, which is why I sort of like Spaghetti Squash better, because alone they have flavor!

Wow, those noodles sound intriguing. I'd love to hear how they are vs. the tofu ones (I got really sick of them after a while) once you've tried them.

I tried these the other day.  I think that if you would like to eat a dirty dish rag...then you might like these noodles. ;)  They are stinky!  I couldn't eat them.
