Ok.... A strange thread this and one which may die off very quickly...
There are plenty of what do you like threads, so I am wondering. Is there anything you miss from losing weight?
I miss my favourite take away at the moment, but you may miss that favourite top that no longer fits or the presence you had.
Just interested for when I finally shrink myself.
Regards

I miss my shoulders. Oh well at least they'll grow back when I start lifting heavier.
When I first read this topics title I started thinking about food, but you opened the door with your post for body related "missing." I miss my butt. It's always the first thing to go when I lose weight. Even just a few lbs... the pants start getting loose, while there is no difference in the rest of the body. Boo!
When it comes to food, I really don't miss anything because I did not completely restrict what I eat. I was never a fast food person, so I didn't have to quit that.

My bustline starts to shrink first...that sorta sucks...:)
I also miss my bustline. It hasn't gone down much, but when you're rather small chested losing a little of it means a lot. I think I may have even gone down a cup size :( Of all the places that could shrink, why there?!
It's so cold up here in Newcastle... I kind of miss that extra body warmth(!)
More seriously, I suppose I miss the feeling of being free in a way. When I get to maintainence I know I will get that feeling back. I will be able to eat more or less what I want, with more treats everynow and again... I mean at the moment, I find it more or less easy to eat within my cals, and on days when I exercise more even hard to reach my cals! So, when I hit maintainence I think I will be ok, and won't get this guilt.
I don't really miss anything else... my favourite jeans were getting holes anyway, and I ajusted all my other clothes to fit me (or bought new ones, oops.)

I miss the way my son would lay on my stomache (he is 3), get comfortable and fall asleep. He tries to get comfortable, but gives up and lays on a pillow now.
Buttonsxandxbows>> If you are cold now in Newcastle..... Just wait until January *grins*. I am out in Whitley Bay this weekend.... Now that will be an experience I do not want with the fat layer going!

I really miss eating what I want, when I wanted to... especially things like pizza and fries.
I miss my pretty, black winter coat. It's too big now and just hangs on me and looks terrible. It went from being fashionable to Zoolander "Derilict". It's lovely, fluffy, 100% wool and so warm. I bought it on sale a few years ago, and now the price of coats like that is sky high. Guess I'll have to go shopping. How awful is that?
i miss having pants that fit. i can't really afford any new ones right now. my pants are all... wearable but i feel like they're going to fall off and i hate belts.
I miss Saturday gorge and watch movie with my husband night. For the past 15 years we have had a ritual where every Saturday night we watch a couple of movies and eat. We would eat anything and everything in the house. It is really odd but hubby would say what are we going to have next. Of course, he still eats anything and everything on Saturday (he always eats like a pig and still wears 32 never gains a pound) night and I try to concentrate on the movie but I find strange images running through my head. I fantasize about hitting him over the head with his bag of potato chips, shoving his face into the dip bowl until he is gasping for air and wondering how far up his nose I could actually stuff a twinkie.
haha claireaine Zoolander is a great movie! love it
I wouldnt say I miss this, but some of my clothes are getting too big and I really can't afford to go spend money on a new wardrobe...but then again pay day is today! ;-)
Over thanksgiving I'm going to miss pumpkin pie, but I'm making a healthier one so I guess I won't really be misssing that either.
So instead of missing something, I'm rather wishing I had money which is pretty greedy and I must try to cast this off.

donuts, my boobs, and my wardrobe. I had a hell of a wardrobe, now I've got a few pieces that I've bought and I shuffle through those pretty quick. The smell of fresh donuts can just about bring me to my knees.
determined!
Haha step away from the potato chips and the twinkies.....your hubby can't help his metabolism.
Really I can relate.......I miss late night pizza in bed with my husband. :(

I had the most fantastic wardrobe. Suits, suits, and more suits, such that I didn't have to wear the same thing to work for a good 3 or 4 weeks. I loved that. Now, I have no clothes. :) I just can't afford to keep up with it, although I have recently discovered a fantabulous upscale resale shop.
Can't wait until I'm pregnant some day and can whip out all my big suits as pseudo-maternity clothes! :)

I miss going to the store with my husband, each of us picking up a
gallon of our favorite icecream (caramel moosetracks for me) and coming
home to watch cartoons and play video games for hours while we each ate
our carton of icecream.
I miss not feeling guilty about pigging out at a buffet. I also miss being intimidating. I was always a really big guy, so people assumed I could kick their ass. I couldnt though...I was just fat. However, I could probably kick their ass NOW. Weird.
I also miss milkshakes. And jujyfruits. And not being cold in the winter. Bah!

I miss my strenght.
I miss eating my midnight snack: chocolate chip cookies right from the oven and a tall glass of ice cold whole milk to wash 'em down.
I miss my flexability. But it's slowly coming back....
I also miss my wardrobe, I feel all frumpy wearing clothes that are too big for me, and I too do not have the $$ for a new wardrobe. I miss not argueing with my husband over my food choices and what groceries I buy. (since they used to be all his choices) I miss the socializing food brought about. I am really really going to miss my sweet potato cassarole with carmel prailine topping this Thanksgiving.
What I don't miss however is being out of breath climbing a flight of stairs, and not fitting comfortably in the seat of my car.
Determined24 ; Smart pop kettle corn mini bags, 100 cal per bag, sweet and salty, loaded with fiber and a great movie snack!
