Missing Son, Prayers Please**-- BODY FOUND--**

EDIT: Chirs' body was found 19 months after he went missing. It is evident that he had gone for a drive that night and went off the road in the canyon.

I'm crying as I'm typing, so please overlook all typos...I'm really not all here.

Our son, who turned 18 last month, has been missing now for 76 hours. He went to work Monday, left work and no one has heard from him nor seen him since. He wasn't having any problems with us, Sunday we all were together and had a great time. He wasn't having any problems with his girlfriend. He did have a bad day at work and we are guessing he went off on a drive to cool down, but we really don't know. He didn't say anything to anybody about where he was going. He was in a hurry to get to work that day and left his wallet home. So he has no money on him nor any access to money. We were able to get into his bank account today and there hasn't been any unusual activity in the last month. We have called everyone he knows and no one knows anything. His girlfriend has called everyone she can think of too.

This is so out of character for him. He has never done anything like this before.

The police are involved and doing all they can. Two different aerial searches were done today and tomorrow there is a ground search going on with volunteers and the police department. He has been listed as a missing person in all 50 states along with a description of his blazer. The police department made up fliers for us to put around town. The top of it says "Missing Person, Suspicious Circumstances".

This is so unreal. This is something that happens on TV, not in real life. The roller coaster of emotions is beyond imagination. The possibilities of what has happened to him and where he might be are endless. To the East of us is a canyon, to the West is desert hills. He could be anywhere. Not knowing anything is the worst.

My husband and our other children are hitting their limits too. Our home is crazy is an understatement. We have had lots of friends and family offer love and support. Meals have been brought in for three days. Our phones are ringing off the hook with well wishers and everyone wondering what they can do.

I'm sorry for going on and on, I just want to cover all the bases, but I'm sure I've missed some things.

Prayers are definitely welcome.

Mostly I'm still in shock. I'm not sure I'll be back on the site for a while. I will post as soon as we know anything.

Shannon...As a mother I cant even imagine what you are going thru right now. I will keep you all in my thoughts and will keep a candle going until Chris returns.

Every day I light a new candle and every day I check this post for news. Shannon, our prayers are with you and your family. I have to believe that Chris is safe and is just trying to find his way and isn't ready to call home yet. I can not imagine what you are going through but I am thankful all these wonderful people on CC are here for you.

Shannon, I don't know whether you saw my suggestion for magnetic car "flyers." It's back a couple of pages, with links to give you an idea of prices.

As do so many, I check this thread often. I cannot help but think Chris is okay and out there somewhere.

That looks like him to me. I think the page was created quickly...there is nothing filled out on it.
And, his face is down, like he is almost hiding his identity?

I am wondering if HE did that as a hint?  But, Shanfood, you should have myspace look into it and also let the police know.

I haven't posted for a while, but I have been keeping up with your postings and praying for your whole family.

Please know there are lots of people praying.  I have added you to my church prayer chain and to my family's prayers.  God will hold you in the palm of His hand and see you through this.

Dear Lord bless this strong woman. she is being held up by faith alone at this point. I as you to give her your infinite grace. Continue to carry her as her feet are getting tired. her physical body is slowing and her emotions are starting to slip. Holy spirit push her to believe in her inner voice... ie you. help her to listen and be open to your words. Give her strength to continue on.

Give her husband the strength to help her through the day. carry him through as his legs are weak also. He needs your firm hand a assurance. Holy spirit continue to guide the leader of this family in the correct direction that he might be able to find and bring home his son.

Give Chris strength. Help him to find his way home Lord. I know that he would not venture this far for this long. Please guide him to his parents or his parents to him.

That he only allows things to happen because He knows of our strength. When we are finished we in our Human ways, say. WOW I don't know how I made it through. It must have been by the Grace of God. EDIT: We found out that the My Space page was created by his "real' mom. I'm not sure why she did it. It would have been nice for her to let us know she was doing it. Thank you all for keeping your eyes and ears open.

Wow, that my space page is interesting. The picture looks like him. I called Dave as soon as I saw it and we both know that it could be a hoax, but it is something to look into. I called the private investigator that took our computer in the beginning of all of this and sent him the link. He will let us know what he thinks.

On the other side of things UDOT (Utah Department of Transportation) took our freeway banner down. They said we couldn't hang it on the overpass. So now we need to find somewhere else to put it that it will get a lot of exposure. I'm a bit ticked, it's not like we were trying to sell something or get you to vote for someone, it's not a controversial issue, it wasn't hurting anyone or anything, it was clean and neat, I don't understand why it was a big deal to hang it.

We did look into doing magnetic signs. There is a local shop here that is willing to do them for us at cost.

Sharon thanks for the update on your sister, I hope things continue to go well.

I know the Lord is helping us through this and I know he is sending Angels to help us get through this, I know you all are some of those Angels. Thanks for being our Angels on earth.

I was so excited when I found the Myspace page. That makes me mad that his "real" mom would do that. I mean, what was the point of that?

Something seems fishy with his "real" mom.   I'm sure she's already been talked to by law enforcement, but that page raises a lot of questions... And who is Tom listed under friends?  Is that a current (within the last 5 weeks) picture of Chris?  Could she know where Chris is?

Tom is the guy who created myspace I believe...Either way, he's everyone's friend automatically the second you create a page.
