Missing Son, Prayers Please**-- BODY FOUND--**

EDIT: Chirs' body was found 19 months after he went missing. It is evident that he had gone for a drive that night and went off the road in the canyon.

I'm crying as I'm typing, so please overlook all typos...I'm really not all here.

Our son, who turned 18 last month, has been missing now for 76 hours. He went to work Monday, left work and no one has heard from him nor seen him since. He wasn't having any problems with us, Sunday we all were together and had a great time. He wasn't having any problems with his girlfriend. He did have a bad day at work and we are guessing he went off on a drive to cool down, but we really don't know. He didn't say anything to anybody about where he was going. He was in a hurry to get to work that day and left his wallet home. So he has no money on him nor any access to money. We were able to get into his bank account today and there hasn't been any unusual activity in the last month. We have called everyone he knows and no one knows anything. His girlfriend has called everyone she can think of too.

This is so out of character for him. He has never done anything like this before.

The police are involved and doing all they can. Two different aerial searches were done today and tomorrow there is a ground search going on with volunteers and the police department. He has been listed as a missing person in all 50 states along with a description of his blazer. The police department made up fliers for us to put around town. The top of it says "Missing Person, Suspicious Circumstances".

This is so unreal. This is something that happens on TV, not in real life. The roller coaster of emotions is beyond imagination. The possibilities of what has happened to him and where he might be are endless. To the East of us is a canyon, to the West is desert hills. He could be anywhere. Not knowing anything is the worst.

My husband and our other children are hitting their limits too. Our home is crazy is an understatement. We have had lots of friends and family offer love and support. Meals have been brought in for three days. Our phones are ringing off the hook with well wishers and everyone wondering what they can do.

I'm sorry for going on and on, I just want to cover all the bases, but I'm sure I've missed some things.

Prayers are definitely welcome.

Mostly I'm still in shock. I'm not sure I'll be back on the site for a while. I will post as soon as we know anything.

Dear Lord, Please be with this family. their hearts are aching and need to have answers. I have faith in you that Cris is safe. he is with you and you are holding him through his fear. Show him the way Lord. Send him home.

as far as HIS myspace...im thinking that he has it so that one would have to approve a comment.. cuz the last time he was logged in was on the 3rd and that was the last comment.

i hope for the best that he shows up.

do you think he could of went to mexico?


do they write down your lic. plate number when you cross the border or anything?

just trying to think about possibilities.

with the possible drug activity be it business or just down there to have fun...friends in TX that hint to trafficing.

what about checking all the jails as well? do they do that?

In response to 120bydecember, he doesn't have permissions set that require him to approve comments left for him.  One of his friends left a comment on his page last night - nearly 2 weeks after his disappearance.  Finally.  I'm still hoping Shannon and Dave get a chance to post on his page as I suggested in my earlier post.

I've been following this thread since it started, and I think I check it several times a day.  I'm really hoping you and your family find Chris soon.  I can't imagine what you're going through. 

I know that it's been mentioned before that he has a Texas connection.  How did he know the friends from Texas?  Do the police speculate at all that he may have come to Texas?  I only ask because I don't live that far from the areas where his friends live. 

I'm praying for you!

I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate your support and your prayers. They really are helping me get through this tough time.

We are planning the candle light vigil for Wednesday night at the High School football field. We are hopeful that the media will cover it so we have more exposure.

Just wanted you to know our church said a prayer yesterday for your son.. an dI just got done with mine here at home tonight..... Figured I'd boot up the computer and "Let ya know" ... I have been following Chris' story since you firs tposted this thread and my heart aches for you and your family Shannon.  I responded to the website asking for the poster to spread around out here.  I live in Chicago and realize that seems totally insane that hed be anywhere near here, but exposure is exposure.  You never know who knows who or whos been where.  He's coming home, let's just make it sooner rather than later!  Bless you and yours.
