Hi everyone,

I would love to join, only started the diet and excercise yesterday.

I walk my rough collie puppy twice a day, so did 1.5 hours  walk in the morning and an hour in the late afternoon, so yesterday clocked up 2.5 hours in total.

Today we had lovely sunny weather so had 1.5 hours walking the dog in the morning, and had 3.5 hours in the garden clearing a huge overgrown area at the fenceline - we have just recently moved and the garden is a shambles.  So need lots of motivation to get the garden looking good, and hopefully get fitter and healthier doing.

So in my first 2 days have clocked up 7.5 hours, and still need to take Freya for her second walk today.

Did the dogs second walk of 60 minutes

total is 8.5 hours for last 2 days

Today -

  • Treadmill - 30 minutes
  • Gym class (it counts; we did running and tennis) - 1 hour
  • Swimming - 40 minutes
  • Stretching and weights - 10 to 15 minutes
That's two hours and twenty minutes; WOW! I had no idea...

So, so far this week (not counting Sunday) I've done three hours and thirty minutes. ^^

tuesday : add 20 minutes

I'd love to join in, restricting calories isn't really working for me anymore so I need to up my exercise, this is the perfect motivation.

Sunday: 30 minutes

Monday: 60 minutes

Tuesday: 60 minutes

(All of my exercise is on an exercise bike that I own as I can't afford to join a gym, it gets quite repetitive  but I figure any exercise helps!)

I'd love to join also!  I need some motivation!

So far I've done 30 minutes of yoga, Sunday, Monday and Today, so 90 minutes total.  Looks like I'm going to have to step up my game a little!  :)

Thanks for starting this thread.  Good luck everyone!

EDIT:  I managed to get 15 minutes of walking and another 10 minutes of calisthenics in today!  This thread was exactly what I was needing!  Thanks again!

I definitely need some reason to exercise! I haven't done anything yet today but I plan to swim 1 mile tonight.

What is the challenge and how are we going to keep track?

Yesterday:

Treadmill: 15 minutes

Stationary bike: 15 minutes

Weights: 15 minutes

Total: 45 minute

Today:

Rode my bike to school and back: 30 minutes

Kickboxing: 60 minutes

Rode my bike to a park and back: 30 minutes

Total: 120 minute

heyyy ill join, what do we do?

add: 40 minutes

My excercise is my job as well, and the amount doesn't change, I excercise 60 hours a month just by my job.  The other stuff such as biking to school every now and then and warm ups in Drama don't really add much, about an hour every three days.  This will really count when I move out in July and no longer have the job that keeps me fit.
