Every day that you run, whether it's 1 mile on the treadmill or the Boston Marathon, report in via a PM or a post (but not both!!!!). If you count it as a run, so do we, but try not to include straight walking warmups/cooldowns (jogging counts, though).
You may send your miles (or kilometers) in daily or weekly. Updates will be done weekly as of Tuesday 11:59 PM. Miles will be added up from Wednesday through Tuesday for our weekly totals.
YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE MILES AT ANY TIME! Even if you only contribute one mile, once, we'll still welcome it, so don't be shy! As long as it's run during the week we are working on, it counts.

We will start the run at the Southernmost tip of South America, in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. We will end the run in Capetown, South Africa, at the ocean.
Start date of the run: August 1, 2007, 12:00 midnight.
Let's see how fast we can do this!!! Please post here if you want to join and contribute your mileage! We welcome any help we can get!

Hey all! Did 10.3 miles this morning--a new distance PR, and my first double-digit run!
I'll contact the tally team to work out a schedule.
Edit: This may take a little while, though, since CC allows only 2 PMs a day (and one was already gone :-(). I got one off to williwigi, and I'll send to jenka and primadonna tomorrow--if one of you can send it on to wrm2105, maybe we can sync up a little quicker.
I have already sent a message to jenka to let her know that I would be more than happy to total up mileage for the current week (Feb 13-19).
BTW, congrats on your first double-digit run!!
I was going to skip runnning and working out all together today, but I'm so glad I didn't. I had a great run. Better than usual.

I've resisted the temptation to post as I go this week...
I wish I had more time to help out on the site :( -- the desire is there, but there just aren't enough hours in the day. If there's anything I can do to make my own contribution as easy to add as possible, I'll do it. I've skimmed through the posts from last week, but I'm not sure I understand exactly how you guys have decided to do this.
It's just so weird that zarelha is not around at all!
On a more upbeat note, I finally managed to do a 5k in under 30'! (29'27"). Okay, so it was partly downhill and I had the wind at my back, but still!! It's all new! I'm beginning to think that I might be able to do my half-marathon in April in under 2 hours. Man, that would be sweet.
