Lately, i've been eating a lot of salads, and protein, as well as brown bread, an lots of fruits and veg, mainly my kcal intake per day is around 1400, but the last time i had got on the scales i hadn't budged in a week, and it kinda got me down because i would've thought that i'd have lost something, even 1/2 lb - 1lb. but nope :(
ive been doing so much exercise too, i run 2 miles 3 times a week, and walk seven miles a day 5 times a week, but nothings gone, all ive noticed is that my leg muscles have became more defined and harder..
any ideas on why i'm not losing weight ?
This can be annoying, but will happen over and over again. Two things to consider, you are probably building muscle, and this will keep your weight for a bit, and also take your measuring tape out, as you said your legs are changing, and I guarantee other parts of your body are slimming down.
Think of the scale as only one indicator, not the only indicator of your new body.
Also when I'm in my period, my body will not budge for nothing... I hope this gives you some ideas.
Keep up the great job and do not let a little scale dictate what to do!!![]()
It's hard to give you an accurate estimate because I don't know your stats, but based on the amount of exercise you're doing it sounds like you just are not eating enough. I know that seems a little counterintuitive, but I was doing the same thing for 2 months until I upped my calories by about 3-400 a day and in the last month I've lost 6lbs. You might want to give it a try!
